Yay for phoenix! Now Z can at least feel what P were regarding mutas, but seriously mutas are still better imo because they can rape cannons while just a couple of spores can go a long way (dt follow ups will be harder too).

But im kinda counfused about the bunker buff. Where did this come from?

Does anyone have 2 x 480GTX cards for Sc2?

test Extreme on all settings + set resolution to 2560x1600 ( 1.97x 1920x1080 )
FPS too and compare vs Ultra settings?

I was unaware that this was a bug as well unless I'm misunderstanding what the patch is saying. I'm pretty sure Terran and toss can do the same thing :\ Only difference is zerg cannot queue units anytime they want, like warpgates they have to be done in bursts because of larva pops and such. It will suck to have 4 hatches going and having to make 30 larva worth of zerglings :\

At the same time this could be a good thing because there are several occations where I held down the Z or D or V button too long and made way to much of that unit. It might actually be a help in most situations. I guess I'll just have to try it and see how it feels.

You know, one great thing about this test realm that hasn't been mentioned is that now we have an alternate account to try out other races and such. At least the places that have access to the test realm.

My thought on the changes:

-I love how I can bind add units to control group to mouse5 instead of shift + group number.

-I dislike no moderators/admins/passwords for private chat channels.

-When I want to view things that have already passed the top of the chat channel it constantly brings me to the bottom. Super annoying.

-There should be an option to view the other divisions of a chat channel and one should be able to switch between divisions.

-The panel that shows who is in the channel should be collapsible.

-admins should be able to initiate slow mode limiting messages per minute.

-People should be able to delete channels from their recently visited list. I typed in random letters to try making a channel and now it is stuck there.

I routinely used this to build many of unit type... hold "T" on 5 larva for 5 Mutas, instead of hitting it 5 times. Seems stupid to remove it, and it's really going to mess me up until I adjust.

It won't improve apm, but it will split our attention. If they do this, I hope it affects terrans as well. I know there are 8rax terrans out there that just hold down A for 2 seconds then go back to microing vs banelings. If blizzard's gonna split my attention from my weak ass army (even more than the queen mechanic ALREADY DOES), they better do it to terran as well.

I disagree. Phoenix beat mutas 2 muta:1 phoenix. You can't do something silly like micro 3 phoenix to beat 12 muta, but they hold up pretty good as long as you keep a constant ratio.

You won't actually be able to have more phoenix, you still have the resource investment, you will just need less Stargates to get them. You will still need more than one and less than three... so what's the point? You won't be able to get a Stargate any earlier, because the VR still does not enough damage to roach/ling. It just means there is a shorter window for Zergs to transition to hydras or Corruptors once Phoenix start coming out.

I am most interested in the Hallucination change. I think it may actually be possible to scout for a lair with hallucination, now. And possibly cloaked banshee, so you can skip the Robo fac. I don't feel that Protoss really will be able to avoid Robo tech, but it's a start to proving that theory.

It's cool, you can't hold the button down to make zerglings anymore, but you know what you can do?

Change the hotkey for zerglings to "Mouse-Scroll-Down"

... it's made me so sad that I just said that.

I just tried it in game the PTR, you can no longer hold down zzzzzzzz for mass zerglings gg. ITs true.

edit other teams are affected too.

hahah but zergs were the biggest abuser of this. i like this change, separates the better players from the not so good ones.

I think a buff to hyrdra's health would be a good idea. Since the FG nerf obviously encourages more hyrdras, it would be smart to make them less fragile in other situations (specifically vs collosi/storms).
Also, I feel like the biggest dumbass... I didn't actually know that you could just hold down the hotkey for larvae instead of just pressing the hotkey really fast... uhhh I mean, I knew it was a bug and was practicing for the fix all along? Let's go with that!
