I think it takes into account your hidden rating or w/e and you only play 1 placement match. And from there it places you.

Good luck hitting "A A A A A A A" x 100 as terran or "Z Z Z Z Z Z Z" as protoss. you aren't getting it. why are YOU queuing up units as Terran or Protoss Zerg doesn't queue up units, Terran and Protoss SHOULDN'T Queue up units (T and P build crap one at a time (or two for T's reactors). Zerg uses all their larvae) I will explain it because you are the one not getting it. Imagine 5 raxes with a reactor on each. To make 10 marines you need to click 10x on A. That's how it works. T and P need to click for EVERY unit, just like zerg does. What's your point? ok imagine 5 hatcheries (one per base) each with 20 larvae now do the math. EDIT: after that, let's see, how about 2 hatches per base, .....
Let's do that math! That's 10 hatches, with 20 larva each..... holy shit how are you producing out of 200 larva at once? Where are you getting that kind of supply?
I'm not sure why you're complaining if your Terran opponent is only producing out of 5 raxes while you're out of 5 or 10 hatches. Just sauron zerg it.

Diamond is much less that 20% according to SC2 ranks at least. Bronze is 5x the size of diamond, silver and gold are about 2-2.5X and plat is 1.5X. So Diamond is under 10%.
Top 5% of diamond will be top 2.5K players and will be less than 0.5% overall.

I don't think diamond represents the top 20%. According to sc2ranks it's the top 6%.

i believe blizzard had said that it is 20% across the leagues though

Supposedly, each league contains 20% of active players.

I'd say this is because lots of people quit playing the game in the lower leagues, but I'm not too sure.

What I dread is having to press "e" a billion times to morph a bunch of banelings. I definitely feel like zerg has to spam more stuff than the other two races.

I'm really going to be dissapointed if they remove this aspect of FG which is rewards skill and is very entertaining to see. Please don't do it Blizzard. lol clicking F on a unit which then gets paralyzed and loses health isn't exactly the most skillful thing you can do in this game. It's actually very easy to do. Whenever you do see a fungal go off like that on a Dship, it's 100% loss to the Terran, and the only cost to the Z is basically 75 nrg on his infestor...yeah...you can see why that's a problem can't you? lol can you not see the problem of forcing zergs to go muta's with no other options? You do see the problem dont' you? No you probably don't so I well explain. Right now zergs can fight drops with infestors or muta's (or both if they prefer). Now with this patch they only have muta's which as the game goes later and later and when your playing a good terran your muta's won't get as effective unless the terran lets you take 8 bases or something. So the only option zerg can do is muta's or lose to drop play every game. Now do you see the problem? I doubt it but Jinro even thinks this is a dumb change as it now forces every zvt to be muta heavy or might is well gg when you start playing otherwise as a good zerg (not you) well actually abuse drop ships especially if the zerg doesn't have mutalisk out (and hydra are a joke zvt). Can YOU not see the problem of infestors making drop harrassment 100% suicide runs? They are not removing infestors from the game. You can still do the same infestor turtle style, it's just that with this fungal growth change, now the Terran can decide to run the drop if it's going to be stopped, able to save his units. How it is now...once you decide to send in the dropship, once it's in fungal range, the drop is 100% dead. So this change doesn't change infestor's ability to stop drops AFTER the cargo is unloaded, but now it's not a forgone conclusion that Terran loses 100% of the drop cargo + the dropship. You're naive if you think Terrans don't already abuse drops as much as possible versus Zerg. That's the entire point of the change related to TvZ. Zerg do not get free dropship kills, and it's not so much of a purposely having to "play bad" as T to do damage to Z. Because every Terran right now knows if you fly dropships into Zerg territory and there's an infestor there, your drop is never going to go back home. The same obviously goes for PvZ where one fungal means protoss loses a huge chunk of their air. So it's a great change for the game. Obviously, Zergs in the strong position they are in right now will not agree. Infestor change won't affect drops any. You cast fungal growth on the units, they never get to load back into the dropships. Yay, dead units. But the medivac survives to fight again! oh no! He meant fungle on the drop before it unloads
Thats what he is saying seeing a infestor there can still deter the drop because the units still die its just not the units and the dropship. Its all about the threat of losing the drop that has changed you keep the ship but lose the units. As it is now it can be you lose both. Its just not a 100% loss to the Terran.

I saw a lot of pros doing this, on streams for example. So I won't consider it as cheating, and I doubt that you will get banned for using official ingameoptions of blizzard.

no that would just be one building. and that was just because like ten stimmed marauders could kill the nexus in like 30 seconds (dont quote me on that)

250 shield and hp to the Nexus hardly constitutes "all your buildings got shield and hp buffs". Perhaps you should read the patch notes more carefully in the future.

Didn't Protoss get nerfed 16 patches straight during the beta? I wouldn't call that a hardon...

Lol endline...I don't play Toss but they got rolled with the patches...Nexus health bonus was pretty much nothing to the Zerg buffs in that same patch and Thor air targeting changes actually helps the Thors.

Protoss is finally getting buffed! Well, at least one playstyle is getting buffed. Early voidrays no longer seem quite so effective, since they don't transition as well into the late game. WILL WE SEE MORE CARRIERS?!?!??!!
