the infestor change might be fine but i think hydra's could have gotten a slight buff in the same time.

I mean hydra's are just too slow now and this will especially be problematic with easily massable phoenixes.I think the hydra upgrade should be slightly buffed, make it go range 7 or give hydra's a slight hp buff or add some speed off creep. Something like it at least.

I Think it is very important what we are doing right here...we are giving feedback to blizzard but what i dont understand is how people rage about blizzar for the patch blabla....It is a pre version..A TEST VERSION.
It is for trying new things and that is what they are doing!!

i think thats pretty much how it is, p is already good vs z, but with phoenixes being counterable only by going slow, expensive, fragile hydras, i srsly dont see how z can win vs p

if they balance that out with a buff to hydras then that would be ok, and maybe make hydras counter mutas more so that zvz doesnt degenerate into muta massing with fg no longer targetting air

Am I missing something? Hydra's on creep are as fast as stimmed marines, either you're being defensive with them and you're on creep, or you're pushing across the map and forcing them to engage. Why are you trying to chase phoenix around in the middle of the map with no creep?

phoenixes are faster than hydras on creep, and they are faster than mutas if u have any control whatsoever its going to be hell to deal with 4-6 phoenixes sniping overlords all the time. This will give u very valuable information as to what the zerg is doing so u can build your anti zerg army and win. Pretty much zerg just lost all map control from one small change to the most underused unit in the game, without map control u cannot expand like a zerg would like. It's by far the worst thing thats happened to zerg. Also why does storm hit air? fungal can't anymore thats the only reasonable change i see happening now u have way to many options to deal with mutas. Blink stalker, storm, cannons, archons, phoenixes, and tbh void ray stalker isnt bad vs muta either. Terran has thors, marines, missile turrets, HSM (from the raven and PDD), +1 vikings beat +1 mutas. So now whats zerg have for aa compared to the things i just named.. Hydras queens corruptors and spores... hahaha everything i just named from the other 2 races is about 15 times better than the zergs AA.. Doesn't look to promising and i see a lot of zerg's race changing after this.

yeahhh I play Toss, and despite loving the changes. Damn do I feel bad for zerg.

Even with just the pheonix build time decreasing would make stargate an even more viable opening vs Z, but my pheonixes cant be fungal growthed? Thats just cruel.

Just copy paste the variables.txt from your normal SC2 folder to your SC2 Test folder. That should copy all the graphics settings over.

Stargate buffs -Now void rays can still kill massive units like they were supposed to without hindering regular unit play.

Phoenixes coming out faster will be a huge help in countering muta/ling play as well as stargate openers.

The repair change was necessary. All of these thor timing attacks are stupid. Planetary fortresses weren't fun either. I also like how it gives them priority equal to what they repair, so SCV's repairing other SCV's wont cause a priority error.

I like the creep even spread, and the pylon change.

I think the only change that will get removed is the bunker one (since they wrote it) if they really wanted to test and see how the things worked out wouldn't they release it in korea only then? they have themself said that they lead the way in tactics and gameplay, they just don't wanna release a patch and have some major failure like ultra+planatery like last time is my guess.

Otherwise i think the fungal nerf is good TvZ, finally you can drop again after midgame and the removal of hold-down-a-key is awesome, macro is pretty simple with MBS. And if you think sc2 should be about thinking and not about hand speed well why not find other people that think alike and then you can play 1v1s on slowest were it wouldn't matter -.-

Corruptors should still dominate phoenixes if I remember correctly. Hydras can still protect a small staionary location (base), and spore crawlers will still hold them off.

Phoenixes are now to zerg what mutas have been to protoss for a long time. Except you have a ground unit that can kill them cost effectively.

Yea sure. Spreading mutas means don't focus fire. Just fly over and hit s. I am sure that take lots of micro. Don't even compare that to spreading marines against bling. There are about 200000 ppl who can spread mutas and about 200 who can spread marines well enough for it to be effective.

I think it's becuase it's just beta and it's easier to get in(since there is less ppl playing,same thing during beta diamond was much easier to get into). But i'm sure on release they will do what they said. They said that the top 200 will be in master league. And i believe the top 2%? will be in grandmaster league.

After playing a few PvZ games, I can say I really miss flux vanes. And the ability to hold down a hotkey and have it register as pressing the key repeatedly. Following your scouting probe and warping in zealots are both so annoying now!
