This is one of the most annoying things to me. You do not need to be particularly skilled to be able to recognize skill. I hear this nonsense all the time, and I'm constantly amazed that it doesn't occur to people how fallacious this thinking is.
It is Artosis's job as a commentator to be able to recognize good or bad play regardless of his personal skill level. You have, in your faulty criticism, managed to point out that he is doing his job well.
It's not about recognizing skill. Yeah you can recognize it (to an extent) above your own skill level.
It's the fact that artosis is a complete piece of shit badmouthing asshole about players who mess up when even though they arent playing well this game they made it into the GSL and he didn't so it's not as though they're completely incapable or that he has any room to badmouth players for having a badgame when he has shown if nothing else that happens to him even more.
So I actually have a point that you've just ignored with your assumption that i'm giving the same old teamliquid argument. It doesn't matter that they're better than him. He shouldn't be such an asshole about the players. The fact that they're often better than him just makes it worse.

actually if you took the time to see any of artosis' games or replays you would see he is in fact better than several of the people that have made it into the gsl ro64. Further, i'm sure he would say the same things about his play if he made the type of mistakes he criticizes in his commentary.
P.S: lighten up a little theres no reason to call someone a piece of shit bad mouthing asshole.

What was wrong about that? The guy that played was completely brainless. He scouted everything, yet did his original plan every game, and just got crushed. Every single thing he did was awful, no exceptions.
For all intents and purposes, he could've just aswell not scouted at all both games.
