The original submission was in a somewhat low resolution and had artifacting. Caelym's submission had HD resolution, but still with some artifacting going on - in addition the image is not properly centered on the screen. (It's shifted slightly to the right). I took the original submission, and the high resolution provided by kennigit. I tried to weed out any JPEG artifacts and color impurities for the artwork from the original submission, and i replaced the pony and the text with those provided by Kennigit - overall i think this deserves the proper HD stamp .http://i.imgur.com/3ujGU.png - 1920x1080 | ||

(i know this is going to sound really critical but i actually really loved the overall design and i thank you for creating something that inspired me to open up CS3 again) i extended the horse's mane to fit in a perfect circle to fit the perfect circle it sits in (O_o). i then sharpened up some of the edges, changed a few shapes, and changed some of the pixelated ripples and brushes at the bottom. this part is more of my opinion, but i also thought that because of the irregular shapes of the emblems (especially the protoss emblem), they didn't look quite right, as they all had different sizes in their frames. it looked off; the zerg one was circular so it fit nicely in its frame, but the terran and protoss ones were smaller and had a lot of void space around them. i also shifted the image to the right and raised the TL text to reduce the chances of them being obscured by desktop incons/taskbars. so it ended up looking something like this. http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/6207/tlwprevised.png | ||

What size?Wooooo \o/ For me personally 1680 x 1050 so 16:10, but if you want to just do one version probably go 1920 x 1080 16: 9 cause I think that's getting more common these days, and they usually still looks good chopped or stretched to 16:10. I just like your version because it has extra detail around the edges with the stars - the plain black versions are nice enough, but that extra bit of interest really makes it for me. Plus I like the fading on the central logo, again because it adds a little bit of extra visual appeal. To me, anyway. | ||
