Last time it was IrOn (oGsMC) who hit the 2,000 mark. Unfortunately his spectacular feat did not match his ability as he was promptly knocked out of the Round of 64 in the first season of the GSL some time after achieving this.

However, just a couple of hours ago 'IMmvp', another former progamer, just hit 3,009 points. Congratulations to him. Here's to the 4,000 point milestone.

I saw this a few minutes ago when I checked sc2ranks; mvp is such a sick player. I hope to see some domination in GSL3 soon.

2000 ladder games played, plus probably another few thousand inhouses. Wow.

Great player though, he already did well in his first season considering how long he's played sc2 professionally, I see him doing well in S3

Wow, thats... So impressive that im lacking words...

Now THAT kinda shows that there might be a gap from being in diamond on EU or in KOR, especially being mid - low diamonds vs Elite - diamonds like him...

Play hard, go proleague!

Congratulations on this!

Bonus pool seems a bit ridiculous at this point.

In other news, Korean players are now 51 out of the top 100 on SC2Ranks. The top 20 is all Korean if you include (T)SeleCt.

First Diamond league player to reach 3000 points yes but there was bronze league player who got to 3000 like 2-3 weeks ago but now is at diamong league around 1800 points or so.

Roses must've 0-5'd his placements and all-killed his way to 54 wins O_O

MVP is a beast... Weird thing is that we're gonna start seeing this a lot more often as people get better + retired pros switch over.

I'll be happy when season 1 is over so we kind of have an idea of a real way to determine if you are good comparing to the peaks of season 1.

kind of dislike the bonus points and the always climbing points... he's the best ladder player though.
i definitely prefered the warcraft 3 ladder system.

Hmm, B-team players (Iron, zergbong, MVP) and aging legends (rainbow, nada, boxer) have been doing well in sc2, foreigners less so -- looks like it didn't take too long for the old hierarchies to reassert themselves despite SC2's less demanding mechanics. I imagine the first A-team players to switch will quickly outclass the old gamers and the B-teamers.

Most of TL-oGs players focus more on custom games then on laddering.

I guess that laddering isn't that important anymore, success wise.

? (T)MVP and (P)SangHo are A-team players. (T)MVP was the best terran player on Woongjin Stars
