blomsterjohn - Thanks man , please don't forget to post about what you think about it afterwards  Darren1337 - In the earlier beta stages , before adding that loading bar , a few friends told me that an instant response after running application would be nice because loading process takes 2-3 seconds and they cannot be sure if they mis clicked ScC Shortcut or not in those 2-3 seconds. So it's like a confirmation window , "Yea it's running now , you didn't mis clicked" etc. This is important especially when a user running it for first time ( who even don't know it's a system tray application , expecting a big window in the middle etc ) I thought it looks cool but I'll work on it today if you think it's ugly. Just a little bar , I'm pretty sure i can beautify it. Edit : Better or Worse? + Show Spoiler + Indeed ScC needs more exposure at the moment. But unfortunately i can't code & debug & add new feature & create visuals & do marketing & post long detailed presentation posts in every forum IN my exam week  That's why i need you guys to spread the word and help me.The whole point of ScC is to bring the community to your desktop , we got an awesome community in TL but browsers capabilities are extremely limited , we got a Battle.Net 2.0 in game which is......... well not as good as we would like it to be , and ScC is like a love child of those 2 , TL services , on your desktop with all the eye candy and visual style of Sc2 ! And indeed it also makes Sc2 more accessible to the crowd. I have friends who don't know anything about Sc2 but still watches tournaments/streams because it's there , just 2 clicks away with ScC. If only a big community favorite name like Day9 / Wheat / JP etc , give ScC a shot In the other news ; s_i_l joined me for the development of ScC ! Hopefully ScC will improve faster from now on. Next patch will be released soon with few bug fixes , UI improvements and a whole new feature! | ||

I have a couple requests though. 1) If i click on the icon in the notification area and the menu opens, can you put an option there to close the menu so it can disappear without having to refresh the notifications or having to open something. 2) MLG cast functionality. If this was added this thing would be perfect, but I can understand if its a huge problem because I have never seen this stream embedded in any other sites, and i know you're working on it. 3) A restore down option. When making full screen with windows 7, to shrink the window again you have to hit alt+space and then select restore to make the window smaller. It's ok for me, but if someone doesn't know the shortcut, it may confuse them. 4) Online updates, which you probably are working on for when it's not in beta anymore, but just in case  Edit: Sorry to sound demanding, but it's hard to suggest over the internet without sounding like a dick. Call me a high templar, cuz i'm just giving some feedback :D Thanks a lot, I love it. | ||

1) You can actually simply right click the menu and it'll disappear just like notifications . Left clicks opens , right clicks closes. 2) We are planning to add tournament casts but we won't have a Blizzcon or MLG for a long time now and adding Gom support would be illegal so i guess there is no need to rush function for now . 3) Oh i just checked that and noticed [1x] is not working at that situation , thanks for reporting that of course I'll try to fix that. 4) I'm not sure i understand this one tho , you mean something like auto update to download&install new versions? Well i guess i can implement such thing but to be honest , I'm not really eager to do that for many reasons like , it'll kill my website bandwidth and probably cost me a decent amount of money etc. PLEASE do ask for more , knowing that peoples using&loving my application is the thing keeps me going. More feedbacks = Better ScC = More Users = More feedbacks = Rainbows and ponies EVERYWHERE! | ||

I'll release 1.2.3b pretty soon ( tomorrow i guess , damn exam week ) and yes 1.2.2b and 1.2.1b will still be functional , no problem  | ||

This won't be as nice as firefox's auto-update feature (where it automagically says that the program is updated), as that would require us to host our own download server (very expensive for a starting open source project). What we can realistically do, however, is use web services to detect if a new feature has been released, and then a reminder message will pop up when you refresh your stream/calender/social feed info. (oops, did I just drop an upcomming feature there?) That reminder will provide a link for you to open our download page to get the newest version. We'll do our best to not make this as bothersome as adobe updater. You can expect this functionality to go public in a week or two. | ||

I just wanted to inform you about what's going on / new features / new patch. I'm having an extremely hard time as this is my exam week but still , we're improving it non-stop. A few days ago we decided to skip the small patch we were planning ( 1.2.3b ) and concentrate on a major patch ! ( 1.3.0b ) As i said , 1.3.0b will be a major patch which means new features ; IRC CLIENT & RSS READER ! I have been working on chat and s_i_l has been working on rss for a few days now , and hopefully both will be released this weekend. For example , stream tags now has current viewer count and streams are ordered by this number. + Show Spoiler + ![[image loading]](http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/5340/streams.jpg) And lots of other smaller stuff like a restore down option for stream windows ( Thanks to JulianSidewind for reporting that ) and smoother mouse movement in calendar window ( Thanks to s_i_l for both reporting and fixing that )Our latest release is ScC 1.2.2b at the moment , and as i said we're planing to release all these this weekend. Don't hesitate to post here and ask for any further improvement / features you want. And please if you like it , spread the word and let your friends know about it! | ||

About window is just like a showcase for Sc2 Styles components , and editing them won't effect anything , so i guess I won't fix it for now , thanks anyway.Bursat - Thanks for your kind words Bursat , I'm afraid it's not allowed to post non-english on TL but hopefully mods will allow for just once. I'll definitely add language support in the future but at the moment I'm concentrating on new features and app-wise improvements.Once we release all the feature ,we have in mind ; we'll go for such improvements like language support etc. | ||
