you guys DO know, that the void ray hasnt been nerfed right?

They've been rebalanced.

they are now alot stronger initially vs armored targets, and not just a cheese unit..

and they are alot less overpowered when fully charged against light targets like marines but also armored..

I like this change.
WHO is this who speaks to me as though I needed his advice?

I am happy with the T and Z changes.
I can understand the VR damage nerf, but now there is literally no reason to get a fleat becon
Fall down 7 times, stand up 8.

O boy toss air is gonna be so gimped after this.

9 range vikings + upgradeable armors is fine i guess.

they also gonna get owned from ruptors. vrays needed a change but not like that.

Thors got a huge buff and now they will simply own anything in tvz and tvp.

Zerg got 1 range upgrade for roaches like it will matter vs marauders

how the hell does this effect Thors in TvZ? 250 mm cannons don't stun Ultras, and Z doesn't have feedback to punish them for having energy

Yes, yes, they do as much damage as a stalker.

But they also attack Much, much faster.

About 2.5x faster making them more effective dps than stalkers (per mineral) even while uncharged. Awesomesauce glass cannon woot!


Too bad since they need to face the target to attack they probably take 2x as much damage as a stalker if not more due to not being able to kite and they require a bit of tech and time to get. I know when I have a void ray it gets a lot less uptime compared to a stalker.

There's no retail patch 1.00 change log.
Range was returned to 5 and their upgrades give +1 to light, which was removed during beta.

o rly how many thor 250mm cannons have seen lately cause players didnt bother upgrade at all.


Second the thor ownage started with ultra aoe nerf this is just the cherry in the cake.

in tvp they just unstopable now

The VR thing is a nerf. Don't think for a second this'll make Void Rays good at anything. It's the equivalent of nerfing Seige mode damage by 35% and then buffin Tank mode a little. At list you suck less when you're caught out of position. Too bad we destroyed your primary use.
