Hey people i'm outlaw star, I normally post on other forums most of the time but I would always come here for builds and stuff.
I've played SCBW for a few years and i was in SC2 beta, and now I'm starting to contribute to the SC community.
This is my first contribution, to the community and I'd like to know what people think.
Please note that this video is meant to be an endearing yet funny tribute to IdrA. I have much respect for him as a gamer, and this video does not contain any insults to him
The song lyrics are done however I'm going to redo the singing and change the video a tad.
edit: when i made this i was redoing it for about 3 hours and my voice was really bothering me, the final version will be a little better an a bunch cleaner.
please tell me what you think.
HOWEVER, If you think a girl should sing it, you only have a few hours to tell me where to find a girl that can and would sing it.
IdrA's a gamer who moved to South Korea The US's full of Starcraft Noobs, so he just said "see ya" All he wants to do is play he straight up macro game and when some one goes all in it just drives him insane

And now he's the Beta King, Going Muta/ling And he's IdrA (the other pronunciation) With his Hydras He's not pissed, he's just ramapging with his Ultralisks (might change a little later) Just like a noob playing SC2, Just quit before you And he's pwningyou, pwning you Check him out he's not number 2
Some of us, we play in constant fear Because sometimes, our workers disappear How can we keep our lines from Being wrecked and plundered? How can we keep our scouts From being torn asunder?
Don't have a Spire? Don't cry imbalance while Your Drones are under fire Don't have a Stargate then You'd best head back to Aiur You let them through Then you're screwed Say good-bye to your SCV, SCV, SCVs
How did they get in here? How did they hide from me? All of these Vultures riding Right through my backdoor I hear some crackling Guess Spider Mines are out I've never gone this long Without a win before
Don't have a Spire? Don't cry imbalance while Your Drones are under fire Don't have a Stargate then You'd best head back to Aiur You let them through Then you're screwed Say good-bye to your SCV, SCV, SCVs
Speed's up The Vultures are all leaving Can't seem to stop these things from Getting in my base They make me rage, just constant aggravation I should start walling to Improve my situation

It only makes it that much better actually (i.e. funnier). He said final version by Friday maybe he is planning to auto tune or something.
ok i'm kinda new at this and this is the third time i've hear the term "auto tune" What does that mean???? The final version will have me singing better so that everyone can hear and understand the lyrics without me needing posting them (i will anyway).
When i said me singing better, I'm going to break up the song into parts so my voice doesn't die and I can not mess up my own lyrics as much. So my singing will be consistent opposed to how it is now.
Haha.. the singing is like the worst ever, but whatever, I just had to laugh through the whole thing and Ireally enjoyed it. Props to you man, thanks, that was hilarious.
Ya if a hot chick was singing that... topless... it would have been a great song :D Great effort though, wait didn't effort retire.... great try!! Yea!

I'm the one who was singing, and the bad singing is part of it. It's called hummer.
i've gotten a bunch of positive feed back. thanks for being in the minority

ok... the lyrics were suppose to be the best part, I admit my singing was the worst i've ever done, but if you read the lyrics and put lady gaga's voice to it it should make you laugh.
the singing in the final version (if i do it) should be about C or C-, then again it's suppose to be funny so the singing doesn't need be awesome.
Sorry, I just don't like any part of this much. It would totally help if you could sing better and knew how to mix vocals even slightly. However, props for contributing to the community.

I heard he made the Kessel run in FEWER than 12 parsecs....
The Kessel Run was one of the most heavily-used routes in the Galactic Empire. Han Solo claimed that his Millennium Falcon "made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs". A parsec was a unit of distance, not time. Solo was not referring directly to his ship's speed when he made this claim. Instead, he was referring to the shorter route he was able to travel by skirting the nearby Maw black hole cluster, thus making the run in under the standard distance. By moving closer to the black holes, Solo managed to cut the distance down to about 11.5 parsecs.

o.O Fanwank much? Anyway, my main criticism was the grammar of the whole thing. It's not "less than" 12 parsecs, it's FEWER than.
wow, I'm getting all sorts of love and hate here. It won't be bad to improve the singing, however the fact that the singing is on the same level as the average nerd was the idea i had in mind.
for those of you who read the WHOLE OP (i don't blame you if you didn't i probably wouldn't) When i did this run through I was singing for 3 hours and my voice was unusually crappy. Pluss it was late and i was all bleh.
Dude, just ignore the haters. They seem to come out in droves around here. The songs got some charm and if you want to improve the vocals you can always hit up some of the other musicians i've seen posting songs around here for some tips on production and maybe adding some autotune/effects to hide the imperfections. Though i wouldn't suggest making it too perfect as that does add to it as a parody type song.

IDK if he approves or not, I pm artosis on his youtube a couple of days ago but i haven't heard back, so IDK what IdrA, Artosis, or any pro gamer thinks.
This is about me making content to contribute to the community. ATM i don't have SC2 so i'm makng songs about pro gamers. so people can be both entertained and somewhat informed about the SC2 pro scene. In the song I do say good things like he's the beta king, and I show some of his better matches in the video too, it's not all of him raging.
If IdrA asks I'll probably take it down, but I don't particularly insult him in the video, so i place my chances of him hating it to that point where i take it down to 50/50 but I'm going to do this for as many foreigners as i can find so i'm not trying to single him out, i just thought of the parody first. I have the songs for morrow and whitera chosen.
I should have beta song version for whitera done by next friday, and the full version a week later.

^ Well, that was the time when every ZvZ was Roach vs. Roach, while everyone else continued with the imbalanced shit he tried to actually do decent stuff.
It was just as silly as any TvZ opening is now aka you have to make reapers (unless some form of all-in).
yeah, your singing was lacking, but i heard it till the end so all the rest was rather good. You should auto tune the singing and voila, you have a perfect good song
The lyrics fit perfectly the song, great job, well done! The rhyms also sound good, nice touch. If only this was done by someone who sang a little better then it would have been extraordinary. Still, very good overall
On its own I wasnt too big on the song by itself, but it works perfectly with the video. The timing, and even the singing/sound just works with the video.. I cant explain. Good job!

the singing was the salt and pepper i don't know if the author intended this, but horrible singing kind of relates to IdrA raging. If it was some flawless singing, then it wouldn't have been so goddam funny
Great lyrics and timing, but you need to get a friend or someone on here to post produce the vocals for you. It's not so much that you're singing is so bad, it's just that it's not projected enough, or loud enough to really sound like the song you're covering
Sorry for the double post but I might not be able to get the final version up today. the reason being I misplaced my earphones,
The good news is I'll be making the audio both funnier and easier to listen to this time. Last time I use Imovie for everything, this time i'm going to use garage band for the audio so I will hopefully have a video everyone can enjoy.
Sorry Guys, I Just found my earphones (left them at school). The thing is my Mic is inside my computer so I need them. It'll be a week late but the Full Official Will be out saturday.
ok guys, cmon, he's not a professional singer, and it wasn't good, but it wasn't THAT bad. The lyrics were hilarious, and the singing needs some autotuning for it to be truly great, but this is still a great contribution to the community

Yes, and Doc Brown pronounced it "jiggawatts" because in Back to the Future 4 they go back to ancient Greece and hijinks ensue which cause Socrates to get his tongue stung by bees, making him pronounce Gs as Js. Therefore in the Back to the Future universe an educated scientist would indeed prounounce "giga" as "jigga".
