![]() Still cool tho, cheers to eLFootman! Worked fine for me, though I'll be switching back to US because I'm lazy when it comes to patching.

You don't need even to open a mpq, here is how I do it: 1. download Korean client and update to latest version. (I have C:\starcraft II\ and C:\starcraft II kr\ folders) 2. copy the sounds file in the starcraft II kr/mods/scliberty mod/ folder (I'm at the office and I dont remember the name of the folder or the file, the file is something like krKR.SC2Assets, however I do remember its size. It's 336 MB) 3. paste that file in the same location but in the starcraft II folder, backup the original sounds file (its name is something like enUS.SC2Assets, just change its extension to backup or something). now change the name of the krKR.SC2Assets to enUS.SC2Assets. DONE. NOTE:To avoid any patch problem, whenever a patch is released, I return the NA version to its original state; patch both versions; repeat steps. I do not see how this could be illegal' or give you an advantage (in fact it's a disadvantage, because if you are not cautious you can easily get supply blocked since you don't understand anything). However this is so cool I don't mind getting supply blocked sometimes. EDIT: It's easier if you manage to get just the assets file, instead of downloading the whole korean client. however you'll have to re-download it if a patch modifies this file. If anyone has a FTP I can upload it. thanks for the steps and thanks to the guy who uploaded the files! <3

Alot of people got banned in WoW for editing MPQ files (not to gain any advantage, just cosmetic changes, like thundefury skin instead your weapon). This is lottery, you can be banned or not. But if you will be banned, this no way to get your account back. read the thread

I just wanted to warn people what they can be banned .I doubt what Blizzard policy changed in Starcraft 2. And i read the thread, i always do before posting. Again, you can be banned, it happened to my guildmates. Exploiting in AQ C'htun room was whole another story, and have nothing to do with what i saying. Blizzard have protecting tool in games. It hooks to game process and monitor for keyloggers, game files changed etc. To make protection from cheaters, it alse check checksums of the game files. It very easy to detect was MPQ changed or not.

If you talking about Assets file i see no difference here. Run repair tool and if it finds what files changed it the same deal i think. If i missed something else, sorry then. But you realy do it at your own risk. Beter ask blizzard support 1st.

"Why" "Cuz your US ones suck and i want korean ones now!"

As long you dont yell it somwhere and dont make it sound obvious i doubt blizz will care.
