Download the Korean version of the game and I'll link you to how you can replace your voice pack with the Korean one. I made a tutorial its somewhere in the tech support forum.

I don't see why it isn't legit, it is just sounds. I did it wrong and battle.net recognized something wasn't right and didn't let me on. Then I did it correctly and it said everything was good.

i would be careful doing this. while they wont ban you for using korean sounds they might ban you for editing game files alone. i mean, it would be a large advantage to replace the nydus worm emerging or the upgrade complete sounds with something easier to hear, so blizzard might just see that your sound files dont match the cleints, and ban you.

yo! can someone upload the Taiwan SC2ASSETS version? The language for this version is Chinese (and i want to compare it to the korean version)

I DLd the client but to install it i need an account... so either toss me a guest pass or upload the ASSETS from TW.

Yeah, if the game client lets you in game with wrong region's sound assets file (if they cared, they should do a basic checksum test so that you don't get banned by mistake), and Blizzard decides to ban you afterwards for that, something is horribly wrong.

you are using official sound files and no mpq editor or nothing... its not like its not allowed to play on another server , and you are doing the same thing switching a few files with the other versions.

I did it aswell, and it works perfectly. I myself don't see how one could get banned for doing this, then again, you never know.

Doesn't seem to work for me. Can anyone confirm if it works if you have SEA version of the game? I even tried logging on to NA server.

Man, using the official blizzard downloader to try and get the korean version to swap the sounds... 3 days solid downloading now and it's still 52%...

Thanks for this guys, works great for me. If by great you mean "guaranteed to get you nuked at least 4 times and btw, you'll mine yourself to death because you can't hear the mineral-depleted voice." So yeah, I'm happy. :D
