This is also why people tell jokes - they're looking for a reaction, albeit a different one than ladder BM. Does 2GD hate Scarlett, or transgender individuals? I'm going to lean strongly towards "no", because as far as I can tell the only thing he truly hates is League of Legends. He said something that was questionable as a joke to elicit a response. Probably laughter, because in drunk logic land it makes some sense and may be humorous. I'm pretty sure he was not intentionally trying to offend someone, although it could certainly be offensive. The thing is, it's going to offend some people, and it won't offend others. It won't change that he said it. It won't have an impact on things he may say in the future. It most certainly will not have an impact on the underlying societal problems inherent in the reason why it may be offensive. Humor in general tries to be shocking, and the underlying premise of nearly all humor is misfortune or pain. It's always going to be questionable, and a matter of taste. It's one of the ways that humanity can express the most horrible aspects of life while still illustrating that life isn't all shit.

Well this is the place where I show my support for SotG and tell people who are set on complaining about a single joke in bad taste during a 4 hour broadcast that their complaints in the minority and pretty invalid. If 2GD already knows and doesn’t care, why are we talking about it? What is it doing beyond shitting up the thread, AGAIN? Also, this is kind of rich coming from RootCatz, who was on and ran a team with Destiny, twice, who’s entire professional career is filled with questionable content and insulting people in front of large audiences. people are voicing their displeasure with SOTG. this is the place to do it. Well this is the place where I show my support for SotG and tell people who are set on complaining about a single joke in bad taste during a 4 hour broadcast that their complaints in the minority and pretty invalid. Because I remember what happened the last time everyone freaked out in this thread, we didn’t have SotG any more.
would you like a cookie for showing your unfailing and uncritical support? most people have said they enjoyed the episode, but had problems with the last segment. nobody (that i have seen) is trying to shut sotg down. this isnt a take or leave it proposition. if people have a problem with a portion of the show, this is the place to state the complaint. i have yet to see anything constructive from you--you seem to just want to shout down criticism, which is stupid because it just makes more "derailing" as you put it.
