i understand that, but i think it's stupid as fuck. giving someone a disadvantage because they are better but generate less viewers delegitimizes the entire competition and would certainly drive some viewers away, including myself. i have absolutely no problem with organizations doing tournaments without koreans (most sensible thing to do here would be to do a tournament with only european players, or only NA players etc) or invite tournaments with just a few koreans. that's fine, and i 100% agree with what sundance said about giving western players more incentive to try and do their best in terms of actually playing starcraft. but please, tournament organizers, don't make a tournament accessible to everybody and then punish koreans for being better than everybody else.

Unless it's something that Scarlett comes out and says upsets her, I don't get the need to raise hell (I mean I doubt she wants all this attention). BTW, 2GD also sent tweets to Megumixbear and Mia Rose but I don't see anyone taking offense to it.

i actually wasnt particularly concerned by the scarlett statement itself. i felt the entire conversation was cringe-worthy and inappropriate. in particular, the statement about tarababcock was unnecessary but expected.

Was checking this topic from work earlier today to see if the followup to the show was either "yay that was great" or another iteration of "how dare they say this!". I was bidding on the 2nd option, I was not let down. I thought iNcontroL would be the target (once again), but I didn't know 2GD would be on.
After watching the show... well... the show was great. Nothing more to say about it other than that. Drama whores and other trolls will find other horrendous quotes to latch onto soon enough.
There was SC2 talk, there was drunken talk, there was quite a bit of overlap between both, everyone was great, the next show can't come soon enough.
As for the pseudo-drama... MLG should just rename "Fuck Slasher" to "Fuck Drama", hosted by iNcontroL and 2GD.

That's one of the more annoying aspects of all this. They would never do it to Anna because they don't want to risk their relationship with incontrol/EG just in-case he flip the lid, but they talk shit about everyone else when they're not even there to defend themselves. I would think the logical excuse is that Anna gives to e-sports but then you go to remember they insulted a professional gamer and several community members who entertain, stream and also give back to the community.
