JP's Twittersays that technology has betrayed him on several levels today. No MP3 yet.

Oh 2GD. unsurprisingly, nobody discussed the "assets" of anna although other girls that are taken were apparently fair game. That's one of the more annoying aspects of all this. They would never do it to Anna because they don't want to risk their relationship with incontrol/EG just in-case he flip the lid, but they talk shit about everyone else when they're not even there to defend themselves. I would think the logical excuse is that Anna gives to e-sports but then you go to remember they insulted a professional gamer and several community members who entertain, stream and also give back to the community. ... I tend to think that this is more because Anna was just married to Geoff, and Geoff had, prior to this, already been extremely graphic in discussing Anna and his first night. (Humorously, although I guarantee if I had told such a story to 6000 viewers within three weeks of my marriage, the divorce would have been much MUCH quicker to come.) And the amount of overall insults to various groups, players, and the level of graphic language was already far beyond that. I wouldn't be putting much faith in any particular logical reasoning about why they might not have discussed Anna, in part because they were already drunk enough that I doubt it would've entered their heads to think too much about what they were saying. TL;dr - I think you're fishing for reasons on this. Then again, after watching the entire show, I'm surprised that of all the things said, THIS is what stands out.

The episode was ok but nothing special, funniest thing was watching Incontrol dealing with his hiccups tbh and ok, the Rotterdam story was pretty good. Other then that i already dont remember a lot about the show and i watched it 4 hours ago.

Yeah, as someone who was pretty offended by the whole 2GD thing, I think that they probably decided collectively (not saying they schemed it, just sort an unspoken mutual agreement) that Anna had probably gotten enough and anything about her would just be overdone. I think you'd have to be pretty stupid to say that 2GD avoided mentioning her because he was afraid of Geoff's reaction, from just about everything I know about him... he would have brought it up on purpose if he thought it would get a rise out of iNc, but it was pretty obvious that Geoff has no qualms about joking about Anna. edit: http://s3.majorleaguegaming.com.s3.amazonaws.com/files/sotg/SotGEP77.mp3 mp3 link.

I don't quite get it. There were quite a few other moments that in my opinion would have made for far better "drama", if one really needed something to be upset about. That the Scarlett "joke" would be the thing to stand out surprises me a little to be honest. Geoff said some things that were rather questionable, but I don't see anybody throwing their pitchforks in his direction. Not that I think they should; it just puzzles me what made James' comment more "offensive" than any of the other things that were said before. The ironic thing is, had the shit storm been released on any other of the guys, they would probably have apologised in any way by now. James is most likely sitting there feeling pretty pleased with himself about the fact that he once again managed to rile people up. All in all the show was very entertaining and mostly hilarious. ![]() If I want to be upset about how sexist a part of this community is, I just have to go to an esports event and talk to members of the community and the staff there or watch how some of them treat the few girls that show up to the event... Seriously, some things I've heard and seen at events make James and Geoff in this show look like real sweet-hearts. I guess I'm just more worried about the stuff that's said and done off camera than about a bunch of drunk guys being silly on stream. So to all you pitchforking people: Save your energy for moments in which you might be able to actually make a difference in the way girls (not only in esports) are treated, and don't waste your breath on somebody like 2GD who will only wank himself silly the more you rage. With that being said: Almost time for Homestory Cup!!! :D More drunk conversations incoming. Can't wait!! ![]()

All that happened in this thread on the last ~10 pages in the last 24 hours is people acting HURT because of something someone said in about 5 seconds. Here's something to think about people: everyone but you has likely moved on. Scarlett is likely training and doesn't care at all, or, what would make what you people do here even worse and more pointless: just wants to forget that thing ever happened. At this time IF scarlett was offended by this, she can't even fucking open teamliquid starcraft because the first thing that pops into her eyes is this thread in which people still talk about how much THEY have been HURT by this little thing someone said more than a day ago. And also nothing's ever going to happen at any point from this, this discussion is completely stupid. 2GD will continue to produce content because he's good at it, and you will continue to watch it because the content is good. All that is coming from this discussion is that this silly joke is STILL on everyone's mind. You blow all this way out of proportion just because appearently you did not have enough drama yet. Just use your "I'm offended by this"-energy for something that is truely offending, for example, there are people out there who thanks to CNN think that starcraft is a game that makes people to mass murderers.

By adding Scarlett to his list of possible love interests he's doing the opposite of discriminating against her. Furthermore, him pointing out that she's transgendered is not offensive at all. Because, you know, she is. She never made it a secret herself why do you? By acting like there is something "special" about her you make it more of a problem. There is no problem, She's just transgendered. No secret. No problem.
