What amazes me is that 4 guys talking shit over the internet can produce as much or more entertainment value than, say, Avatar. God, I'm a nerd.

It's funny how the OP says that maybe they can manage 45 minutes a week and now it's 3 hours long.

Not that I'm complaining. I'll listen to the same episode two, three times a week. JP, you should really get a sponsor.

I guess the show's opinion is that they're laughable, hehe. However, I recall Koreans on Gisado's stream (when it was available to foreigners) using them to tank against bio balls and it worked OK as far as I can remember. I feel as though Archons are one of a few things Protoss completely neglect these days. Like I said, I can't really make any legit comments on balance but I just have that gut feeling that things like archons, hallucinate, dark templar, and phoenix will eventually be included in pro games much more effectively than right now. And it's probably just the optimist theorycrafter in me, but maybe that's why Protoss feels barren right now.

The T will have ghosts by the time you are using archons to tank bio balls...

Now if the archon's splash radius was actually large enough to hurt anything other than highly stacked air it might actually be useful in dealing with terran bio or roaches. As it is though, the archon is just a giant blue turd.

Protoss storms merges into archons as merging, protoss army all dies to muROWders You now got archons, you try to run them away to keep them safe, but nothing escapes the firebear.
