Id say that if something like this is upsetting you so much that you need to be emailing people then maybe you need to take a step back from sc2 take a few deep breaths and evaluate why this is making you so angry and maybe you need a break from it.there are much bigger things to get involved with at that level then this and maybe your in so far that you are blinded by bias rage like a fan in normal sports. In otherwords everyone should chill out Just trying to clarify a bit here. Why I am so disappointed,(and others views may vary) is not because IdrA lost his temper with Avilo, but because Avilo was brought on in the first place. The debate that QXC and IdrA had in the first portion of the show was incredibly well done and both players covered the topic very well. But to turn around and bring on someone who has had known conflict with IdrA in the past against IdrA's own wishes even was pretty silly. I understand that it was meant to be a joke and not be taken seriously, but as I mentioned earlier it is a little bit cruel. Anyways, I agree with you when you say that there are more important issues than this but it never hurts to try and better the community no matter how small the issue. In this case, I don't believe going to sponsors or management is worth it and I feel that more harm then good will be done by that. I hope I was able to give you a bit of a glimpse of my perspective on the matter!
I think this is probably the most sensible post I've seen in this thread for a while

IdrA and iNcontroL have shown an unrepentant attitude of disrespect toward all but a handful and SirScoots is okay with this. While this is nothing new, it has reached a point where I am no longer interested in them or their events and that is something sponsors should know.
Don't worry anyone. I'm just one guy and I will recommend to the sponsors that they continue with eSports but that they should and can find better teams and players to support. And don't worry EG fans, even if all the sponsors were to leave the team, I am certain they will continue just fine from shirt sales and stream revenues.
I didn't watch IdrA's stream much since he never seemed to commentate or interact with viewers and there was often something wrong with his audio that made all the songs he played sound like a broken washing machine but iNcontroL had been moving up my list. Hard to hate a stream that plays songs by In Flames, even if it tended to be the new stuff.
Whatever. They won't miss me and I won't miss them and I don't expect my letters to their sponsors to have any effect at all. In fact, I encourage EG to print this post, frame it, put it on the wall, and drink a toast to me every time they get a new sponsor.
Still, I'm surprised and disappointed that for all the "let's build eSports" talk I've heard from iNcontroL, he, unlike Sundance, doesn't get it. He says the last two SotG episodes were bad but it doesn't look like he understands why people are complaining. You got a lot of growing up to do, buddy. I hope that one day, as you lie on your deathbed, an angel appears and shows all of your loved ones how much time you wasted drooling on a forum over something so meaningless. Sort of like a reverse "It's A Wonderful Life".

Completely untrue. I've seen nothing but praise for qxc, although to be honest the debate wasn't as good as many have said and he did a poor job emphasizing why IdrA's rebuttals were invalid. (For example the part about 6 queens and 15 speedlings: No you cannot have both by let's say 7 minutes but you can by let's say 8 minutes. qxc tried to make the point but didn't do it in a way that forced IdrA to acknowledge it. There is no longer a sweet spot timing for hellions in the first 8 minutes of TvZ that does significant damage without requiring the Zerg to play like a Bronze - See Saturday's DeMu vs REcco match where the hellions went past the Queens just like Greg wants, killed 9 drones, and delayed the inevitable Zerg roflstomp by about 30 seconds.)
And while I'm sure many were hoping for an avilo-IdrA blow-up (and who therefore shouldn't be disappointed), some of us wanted to see the two discuss the matter with avilo respecting IdrA and IdrA respecting avilo. Aside from each interrupting the other, IdrA disrespected avilo for reading Luckyfool's blog, for considering Fitzy a good player, told him to STFU and called him a terrible player (too lazy to get the exact quote) and avilo disrespected IdrA by saying he agreed with him. Then JP disrespected avilo by hanging up on him mid-sentence which even if he did privately apologize to avilo right away and publicly at the end of the show... how long has he been hosting the show?

I think you are just trying to get some attention. You have all the right to find what Incontrol and Idra did wrong, but calling sponsors because of a STFU/mishandled situation is ridiculous. Do you call Legion sponsors every time Avilo calls someone names on his stream? Because that shit happens often. If you dont want to support EG, thats you choice, but trying to hurt them just because you think you are some especial candy is pathetic. I hope one day mods start to ban people with "im gonna call sponsors" comments.

You are one pathetic individual and the reason i say this community is by far the most emo community that i have been part of. You must be one of those kids who never gets picked to play a sport and nobody likes to be around becaus you're clearly uptight and the stupidity glows out of you. There are times where contacting a sponsor would be justified, but for a "fuck you" comment and a 5 minute argument, not so much. You could have just stopped watching EG players and not support them but ofcourse like i have already mentioned, the stupidity reeks out of you. You're holding a grudge against two players from EG while you throw nice guys and guys who werent even involved under the bus like Thorzain, Huk, etc with your stupidity. You got the attention the seeked man, i hope you're proud of yourself.

Guys i think it's time to let this hole situation rest? Derailing a thread with this for a few days wont do any good.

Okay, please explain what Demuslim, Huk, Thorzain and other EG members have done to you because you hurt the whole team with your actions. Please explain these SERIOUS actions that you as an outstanding citizen that you are, had to take action by contacting their sponsors.

No need to attack him. Let him speak his mind. If you don't like it write the sponsors and tell them differently. Easy way of settling this dispute. Let the sponsors handle it.
I see a pattern of attacking dvorakftw. Let him be, the action is done.

gotta say that i was a little dissapointed by incontrol and idra.
it was a little annoying after the first two snide remarks about avilo last week, then it was just annoying me each time.
if you wanna make fun of someone so be it, just don't expect them to just take it. i honestly thought avilo wasn't as bad as they made him out to be, maybe he's not like that all the time on his stream, but he was reasonable enough to me that it made me really sad that people didn't let him defend himself.
saying "ur terrible" in the middle of what's supposed to be a moderated discussion, was just retarded. at least say he's wrong or stupid.

Isn't it standard customer behaviour to escalate things when you are treated in a disrespectful way by the clerks. This guy has been mocked by the EG management. Do you think shops should mock their clients? He stands justified in his call to sponsors. I don't think they will care though.
edit: anyway the whole "don't dare call the sponsors you insecure person" is ridiculous! If you don't want to fear the sponsors, don't do stuff that would make the sponsors angry! Things like being racist or humiliating people in public, seriously... Even if for Orb the thing was a bit sad as he didn't actually falter on showtime.

Its how its done in America, not sure about rest of the world. But apparently alot of people thinks the standard management business hierchy does not apply when talking about "esport"
