lil sad he forgot about me v painuser
Also hevad's concern with it being too easy for bad people to beat "good people" is kinda legit but I feel as the beta has progressed this has become exponentially less true (AS IT SHOULD). The game is still being figured out. What is critical, what is a good composition, reaction etc.. is still being developed. Someone who has an economic lead has a higher chance of winning because effective harrass and comeback situations are still greatly underdeveloped. Holding SC2's gameplay up to SCBW's is unfair.. one is in the beta the other had 12 years of development. I think the issues we see dwindling as fast as they are speaks to the game we have at our disposal.. I see good things for SC2

HAH that was like the coolest interview from a top poker player. I had no idea he was that much into hosting showmatches and stuff

Khan is awesome. He'll definitely strengthen starcraft 2 economically at least in the US. Such a good poker player too.

Awesome interview Josh. Love your videos and casts too btw.
It's awesome to see a successful gamer giving back to the community via show matches and whatnot. Thumbs up to Hevad, Josh, and the community of poker/starcraft.

Inc, I almost feel the opposite. As SC2 develops, as BW has, room for comebacks and 'interesting', 'nonstandard' or 'cheesy' play diminishes. Players learn first and foremost to keep their advantages, and even though you're right about harassment becoming more important as the game goes on, I'm pretty sure it will just be (as it was in BW) to achieve a marginal advantage, and then ride it to victory by playing solidly and standard (again, a la BW).
As an example, take Boxer's comebacks. There's a reason they stopped happening after 2005.
