I don't want to come off as an asshole but the fact that they won't implement offline play or chatrooms enrages me, my internet dies alot and are down for several hours without any chances of getting it back up and i don't even get to play offline skirmishes against computers?!

I don't like what Blizzard is doing with all of this, they are ruining Battle.net 2.0. It has potential but if they are too stubborn to add chat channels then they are pretty fucking stupid.

When will they realize that people want to be able to communicate with other players on a online game???

I love how every interview with a Blizzard employee on Starcraft 2, they're always like, "Really? You want chat channels?" Like it's some god damn mystery that we want to be able to communicate with people in a multiplayer game. No, you only get asked that in every interview because we enjoy hearing how much you don't give a fuck about what the community wants if it doesn't directly relate to making Blizzard an extra nickel.

Wow, so they don't even care that the multiplayer platform for their upcoming rts game is much worse than the platform for rts they released 8 years ago.
I had always hoped that bnet 2.0 was only so crappy in the beta and that Blizzard was holding stuff back, but apparently they are either highly dilusional about the quality of bnet or they just don't give a fuck.

I mean forcing players to buy multiple versions of the game just so they can play on a different server is simply insane.

Guys please we must think of a way to REALLY show our distaste for this interview and all of the decisions. WE HAVE TO BE HEARD! Maybe if everyone that reads this thread were to create a new topic on the blizz sc2 forum with just a link to this post they would be FORCED to read our comments. I don't know just an idea maybe somebody can think of something better but something needs to be done and fast.
