In the event that I win by ELIMINATION of my opponents structures rather than their leaving the game, the result of the game will be listed as UNKNOWN. I know this is probably intended, but is there any plans in the future for working around this problem? If this was to happen 3-4 times per 100 games, the calculated W/L ratio could be off by about a percent. Winners are not recorded in the replay. I had to create my own algorithm to determine the winner based on the actions of the players. I will improve this algorithm by time.

To do that, you have to rename replays. Select the replays, then right click, and choose "Rename replays...". You can rename replays by providing a name template which will be applied to each individual replay. You can insert the map name to the name template, you can also insert short map name, map name acronym etc...

I also would like the APM distribution feature as well. The build/tech stats only shows specifics.
Also, can you allow us to have different auto replay naming templates for different game types (i.e 1v1, 2v2, 3v3) because my 1v1 template would not fit a 2v2 template. The builds tech tab shows different events on the time line. For example build actions (like build a pylon) or train actions (like train a probe). The bars (transparent filled rectangles) shows the duration (length) of the actions. The displayed action ends when the bar ends. If you find it distracting, you can replace the bars with single horizontal lines, or you can completely hide the durations.
As to the naming template: you should check out and understand the Player info block element of the name template: it defines a player info block which will be applied for each player of the replay grouped by teams, I'm sure it can be used what you want to do.

make sc2gears able to take builds from replays and overlay them into current game mmk? k go! then this would be by far the best sc2 app EVER! im getting sick of writting awesome build orders down on my second monitor just to practice. another cool feature would be to import build orders from match history on bnet.

Thank you Dakota_Fanning for all the effort you have put into this invaluable tool. It has helped me tremendously and have been using it since release.
After the recent update however I am having problems with my replays not automatically being saved to the appropriate sub-folders. However, when I manually open the replay in Sc2gears to rename it I apply the same template and SC2gears correctly moves the replay to the appropriate folder.
The template that I am using is "/T\/T-</p (/r)> on /S (/D)./e" Replay auto-save check-box is checked and the folder where it saves is the default "C:/SC2Replay Archive".
I am not sure if it's a problem in my end or not but just thought I would share. I would be interested to see if anyone else is having a similar problem.
Thank you once again.

Thank you once again. Others reported too that in the new 3.60 version the sub-folders do not work in case of replay auto-save. I will fix it and release a hot-fix version as soon as I can.

One more thing. This chart shows almost everything by default (except the workers). You can disable everything with the check boxes above the chart. Enable only the things you're interested in: for example build actions and researches and upgrades. That will leave you a nice looking and informative chart. If you want to enable other things, it is recommended to zoom the chart, that way it will not be cluttered. Or you can filter the actions (and enable the "Use listed actions as chart input data" below the action list to display only the actions you're interested in).

Hohoho and merry Christmas,
first of all I would like to thank you for this greaaaaaaat tool. It is so damn useful. I love it. Anyway I have found and issue and additionally I have a bug in version 3.60.
Issue: I am playing as Zerg and it looks like Sc2gears is not counting my drones correctly. As far as I know I should see the drone count at a given point in time in the builds/tech stat overview. But I am quite sure it counts too much. In some game the in game counter said ~70 drones while Sc2gears says 110 drones... Maybe it is because you count how often I build a drone. But sometimes I click on "build drone" and it says "not enough minerals"... I am just guessing but this could be the reason. If you wish to I could investigate this further.
Bug: (#edit: just found out that somebody in the original forums already told you about this bug. So just see it as a confirmation.) Since last patch Sc2gears has a problem renaming and moving my replays to the correct folder. I am using the following string to rename and move my replays: /f\/W1 /T </p(/r)> - /m - /D./e Sc2gears even says, that it moved the replay succesfully, but it seems, as if it ignores the first part (/f\) completely. It is like having /W1 /T </p(/r)> - /m - /D./e Afterwards the auto-open last replay functionality does not find the replay of course.

The last time I checked anything in SC2Gears was a while ago, but there was a problem with clicking an upgrade several times before it actually starts upgrading and having it show the upgrade being researched that many times... is it still there?

Hey Id like to see that too. Though maybe character code is not contained in the replays (I dont know). My method is to look up the player name on google, which most of the time gives me the b.net profile link, which could be then entered into sc2ranks.com. Im not sure this can be adapted or automatized. Also the google search does not always yields the right character profile.

Sc2gears 3.61 has been released which fixes the issue where the sub-folders were not applied properly to the auto-saved replays.

I'm having trouble downloading this. Left click on the link does nothing but open a new blank tab. I tried the rightclick->save link as, but the file it downloads has a size of 0mb and when I try to open it, it gives an error saying the file is "in an unknown format or damaged"
Any help? Could someone rehost the file?'
edit: I'm on windows 7 and using winrar to extract
