Keep up the good work! I'm not sure if this has previously been mentioned, but I did a quick search skim of this thread to hopefully find it and my search results did not yield anything.

Everything you asked for is already possible with Sc2gears.

To put your name first: add your name to the favored player list (right click on your name and Add to favored player list).

Once you're the first player, the race of the first player is always your race. You can specify a name template which sorts replays by the race of the first player, this will result exactly in what you want (start your template with "/r1\" and continue it with the name you want for the replays).

All match-up records and map records are part of the multi-replay analysis (which is a feature of Sc2gears).


Thank you for the reply sir. It makes a lot more sense to me now I feel kinda silly for missing this after going through some of the renaming. Searched this thread, should have read the website better :D

When renaming/sorting replays by date sc2gears uses DD.MM.YYYY, could that be changed/customizable?
What I need is YYYY.MM.DD.

The date format is defined in the language file, so it is part of the language.

You can edit the language file to specify whatever date and time format you need, but this file will be overwritten on updates (so you have to do it again after updates).

Regarding the rename variables. Will there be more general variables? I sometimes feel the need to differentiate between game version, ladder and custom games. I'm not sure but I believe these are already in the replay format.

i love this program, thank you!

I have a small issue, whenever my APM Alert checks for apm, it causes my computer to play the "close window" system sound. I found this by changing it from 3 to 10 seconds and the sound played every 10 seconds instead of 3. Can you help me?

Apparently the "close window" event is the "end of a program/process" event. I check the APM by executing an OS command. I believe if you want to get rid of this, u'd have to disable that sound in Windows.

It's an option in the menu to save them all automatically. However, the naming convention is just <mapname> (#) which is not really ideal.

I've also noticed that the replay files from the PTR can't be opened by sc2gears, so maybe the format is changed again?

So, i downloaded it; but i cant figure out how to set up actual auto saving.
It seems to only "auto save" when i save the replay; so it saves it twice (once for Bnet, once for program)

Is there a way to make it AUTO save EVERY game?

This i tried, mine already IS enabled (as it said on that faq, its enabled by default)
But the voice still never comes up unless i hit the save replay button
