It seems to only "auto save" when i save the replay; so it saves it twice (once for Bnet, once for program)
Is there a way to make it AUTO save EVERY game? First section on this page: How to use Sc2gears This i tried, mine already IS enabled (as it said on that faq, its enabled by default) But the voice still never comes up unless i hit the save replay button There is more written on that page than to enable it. Check if your folders are correctly set.

Is there any way to make it only save replays from 1v1 and not team games or customs?

You can't filter what replays to save, but you can specify a template to organize the saved replays into sub-folders. For example you can provide a template which saves replays in the game format as sub-folders, therefore all your 1v1 replays will be in a folder named "1v1", all your 2v2 replays will be in a folder named "2v2" etc.
The next release will also add a new template symbol for the game type (like AutoMM, private, public etc.).
To organize your replays into sub-folders named by the game format, just insert this template fragment to the beginning of your template: /f\

Is there any possibility that Sc2gears minimizes automatically to the trayicons when the PC boots? I have it already as autostart for my PC but i don't want to close it everytime manually

Edit: What this option does is that when you start Sc2gears, its window will not appear only the Sc2gears icon in the notification area of your taskbar. All of its services will operate of course (like replay autosave, APM alert etc). You still need to set it to autostart by placing a link to Sc2gears.exe in your Startup menu (inside Windows Start menu).

Does SC2gears have the functionality to rename lists of existing replays?

If you're talking about multiple replays, then simply perform a search (provide the folders and individual replays you want to rename). The result of the search is a table of replays. Select all (CTRL+A) or those that you want to rename. Right click => Rename replays...
If you're talking about renaming saved replay lists inside Sc2gears that appear in the navigation tree, then simply right click on the list you want to rename and choose "Rename item...".

The next release of Sc2gears will support importing Build orders. I've created a specification draft describing the Build order text format. Those who want to create Build orders that can be imported/opened in Sc2gears, please read this page:

is there future plans to have apm distribution chart? i know that they can be filtered in the apm chart to show different commands like move, select, train, etc. but i was wondering if all those could be put together to show a graph like:

In a little different form this chart is already in Sc2gears. This chart is called "Builds/Tech stat". It displays trains, builds, researches, upgrades and other ability groups. Is there a need for something like the action distribution chart in BWChart?

Just a small thing that has been bothering me:
In the event that I win by ELIMINATION of my opponents structures rather than their leaving the game, the result of the game will be listed as UNKNOWN. I know this is probably intended, but is there any plans in the future for working around this problem? If this was to happen 3-4 times per 100 games, the calculated W/L ratio could be off by about a percent.

thx a lot for the frequent updates man

i'm curious of different style of plays that people do. little things from ctrl select, shift select to double click. how efficient a player is with using hotkeys to train instead of mouse click. i noticed that two players with 200apm could have very different play style, one could be more mouse click focus and the other more hotkey/keyboard focused.
just a small curiosity ^_^ i guess it isnt as necessary compared to what is already available.

I have a feature that I would very much like to see: an option under Map View that allows us to see not 'hot points', but the points at which the screen is focused most often. If I'm not mistaken, hot points takes clicks primarily into consideration, right?
An integral part of improving to a high level is minimizing the time one spends looking at one's base and macroing so as to free up time to watch one's army. It would be very educational to keep track of one's ability to do this as well as compare the percentage of time that the screen spends focusing on the army vs base in pro level replays versus my own.
In any case, I can't post in this thread without commending you on this awesome program. Well done!

Is there a way to make it open a players profile from sc2ranks.com instead of from the Blizzard website?
|
Is there no way to add the map name to the name of replays?
|
Some comments:
The build/tech tab is really hard to look at. There are too many overlapping things with random bars and lines. What are we supposed to be able to see?
I also would like the APM distribution feature as well. The build/tech stats only shows specifics.
Also, can you allow us to have different auto replay naming templates for different game types (i.e 1v1, 2v2, 3v3) because my 1v1 template would not fit a 2v2 template.
