Ok, I managed to solve it after lots of tests. It seems like something changed in zonealarm configuration/way they allow access, so an update there solved the problem ;-)

But i have a quick question. I was looking through my replays trying to figure out if there is a common theme when i lose in PvP ... so i loaded all my losing replays into the multi replay analysis checked the build orders tab and it only had my openings. So my question is, Is there a way to load a build orders tab for all my opponents in 1 tab with the multi replay analysis and i'm just missing it? (i am rather daft so i wouldnt be suprised if its glaring me in the face and i dont see it) But anyway thanks for all the work you've put into sc2gears! :D Edit: I'm a dumbass: Seriously ... i honestly spent a solid 20 minutes checking before i posted this ... then i post this go back click the "global stats button" something that i apparently couldn't see (i think i need new eyes). Anyway feel free to ignore this post ... i may aswell leave it in full glory without redacting it so people can see the level of dumbassery that i attain on far too many occasions. (Also i apparently lose a lot to cannon rushes and proxy 2 gates hmm good to know)

Lost several games because of this T_T Sc2gears does not have other On-top dialogs. My guess is that you still have On-top APM dialog enabled (maybe when you turned it off, you did not save settings before you shut down your computer..).

But since a bit of time (1 or 2 weeks) it seems SC2Gears doesn't access the internet anymore (welcome page says: "This channel is currently unavailable, please try again. If this problem remains you should check the homepage...."). I also don't get any automatic profiles for players anymore. I think this is an issue with my firewall (ZoneAlarm), but I checked and everything is on "Ask", including the javaw.exe process, so I am now looking at other things as well. Did you ever encounter something like this? Anyway I think I will probably have no choice but to re-install. Is there a way to save settings, re-install and then import the settings ? Thanks for your help, and keep up the good work :-) I've read you solved your firewall problem, but just to answer your question: Yes, you can backup settings and restore them on another computer or after your redownload Sc2gears. These files are placed in the "User Content" folder inside Sc2gears. Settings are saved in the "User Content/settings.xml" file. This is the one you need. Also if you want all your saved replay sources lists and other files, simply just bring the whole "User Content" folder...

I'm just wondering if it's possible for Sc2gears to only auto-save certain kind of games. Besides ladder I play quite a few custom games (TDs, StarJeweled etc) in between those games and when I open all auto-saved games these games also show up of course. So is there a way for Sc2gears to distinguish between custom games (or certain kinds of custom games) and "normal" ladder games and then to only save the games I want to be saved? Kind regards

Kind regards The answer is on the FAQ page of Sc2gears. Quoting it: Sc2gears FAQ: 1.28 Can I tell Sc2gears to save only 1v1 or Ladder games? If replay auto-save is enabled, Sc2gears saves all replays. But you can specify the format (for example 1v1, 2v2 etc.) or the game type (AutoMM, Private, Public) or any other property of the replays as a sub-folder in your replay auto-save name template, and that way your replays will be sorted into sub-folders where you can easily find/analyze replays you're interested in or delete the ones you don't care about.

For the installation folder, I cant choose the folder for Hots either because the execution file name is now "Starcraft II Beta.exe" instead.

It's in the post-game statistics provided in SC2 after the game ends.
