Is there a way to search for games where a certain building was not build in the first X minutes?
I searched all the replay packs that i downloaded to find TvP games against all sorts of 1-base protoss all-ins/cheeses, since that is what i have the most trouble against. I tried searching for games where no nexus was built but that almost only found the successful all-ins, not the games where the terran managed to defend and the protoss expanded after the attack.
It would be useful if i could say "Find me all games where there is no Nexus in the first 8 minutes".

Currently it is not possible to filter games for "Games where no X building was built in the first Y minutes".
I add it to my todo list to implement this in a future release.

The "Favored Player List" feature is now available in the Sc2gears Database too.
The Favored player list is a comma separated list of player names which you can set on the Settings page.
It works the same way as it does in the Sc2gears clients: if a replay contains a winner listed in the Favored player list, the row will be colored green on the Replays page; and if a replay contains a loser listed in the Favored player list, the row will be colored red.

Hey Dakota i have a question. I don't have a high end cpu i have E7400 and 4gb ram so if i play with sc2gears "on" would reduce fps i get from game? How does SC2Gears handle cpu usage?

How does SC2Gears handle cpu usage? No, it will not reduce your fps at all. Sc2gears uses CPU close to 0 when "idle" (meaning no replay search or multi-replay analysis is in progress), and it uses initially about 40 MB of RAM (it increases if you open replays for analysis or do other stuff with it).

Wondering if you could guide me on this... I am on a MAC and sc2gears only works if I drag the replays into the system. I can't open replays from the replay sources (auto save is on in sc2).... and also, after i'm done analyzing, i close sc2gears and everything is erased... any help?

Could it be you didn't extracted it, you just double clicked on the zip, and started it somehow?
Did you set your folders correctly? Does the user you start Sc2gears with have write permission inside the Sc2gears folder?
Run a diagnostic test: Tools menu.
Also check the logs (User Content/Logs folder inside Sc2gears).

Is there a way to get race Win-Rates out of ~3000 Replays? I just find Race-Win-Rates by Players and Maps, but not overall.

- select replays at "multi replay analysis" - click your name on the list - click on "6 - match-ups"
Is that what you want?

Greetz Not sure, what exactly you mean, but: - select replays at "multi replay analysis" - click your name on the list - click on "6 - match-ups" Is that what you want? To extend this further: You can see all match-ups stats under your name on the "Match-ups" tab. This Match-ups tab shows your match-ups categorized by game format (1v1, 2v2 etc.). Besides showing all match-ups, it also shows summarized stats like you T vs all race (in the form of "Tv*") or you with all races vs T ("*vT"). These summarized stats are also available for team games.
If you want your global stats with T for example (summarized for all game formats), then pre-filter the games with you playing with T, then perform a multi-rep analysis on the result. Your global win rate will be on the Players tab, win % column (since only your T games were included in the multi-rep analysis).

I was wondering whether there is a way to find out the average time that you get certain upgrades. Like 1-1, 2-2, etc. Does sc2gears have the feature? if not, is it something that can be done with plug-in?

Mulit-replay analysis -> Your Name -> Game Formats

Sorry, I made a mistake when I wrote the comment, I meant upgrades not replays. sorry about that.

Further improvements to the Sc2gears Database User Page
The "Favored Player List" feature was launched just a week ago, further improvements were already made to the Sc2gears Database User Page:
-"Display replay winners" setting which specifies how to display winners on the Replays page. Possible values: Hide, Icons, Colored names, Icons + Colored names The "Colored names" is the new default version which indicates winners as green links and losers as red links, the "Icons" is the old version displaying different icons next to winners and losers. The "Icons + Color names" combines these 2 visual effects.
-Storage quota status and related warnings are displayed on the Home page.
-More elastic layout which suits devices with smaller display better (e.g. cell phones) and which displays wide replay tables nicer by breaking lines and removing horizontal scroll bars.
-Random tips are displayed on the Home page.
-Other cosmetic improvements.

The Chrono Boost graph is so nice. Thx!

@enemy2010: @Dakota_Fanning:
That's not what I meant, I took replays from some tournaments and now want to view the overall Race Stats, for example TvZ, not the games I played. I could select every player and then look his personal stats but it would take too long. I hope you understand what I mean.
