Great, make Terran more powerful and continue to nerf Protoss. Great job blizzard making this game completely unplayable unless you have a(T) next to your name.

OK, infestor buff was much needed, but still, the patch is terrible once again

I share your opinion there. HSM was rarely used as it is, despite doing that insane splash. Now with the average splash, I doubt it will be used at all. The energy cost is simply too high.


Right. The "HSM is too overpowered even for 125" argument that some made was nullified after the bug fix (which was a nerf). I even feel that they balanced it to be 125 due to the bug. I see no room for misinterpretation of the facts: if Psi Storm can cost 75 then "fixed" HSM can cost 100.

The point of beta-testing maps isn't for you go have a lot of fun on maps you think are totally cool and great. If Twilight Fortress needs more testing, it's going to stay. LT obviously doesn't since that's all people have been playing pretty much.

Agreed; people are finally realize PD Drone is as close to dark swarm as you will get in this game.

Couldn't fix it. Now I uninstalled it and I'm hoping it'll work now.

Try engaging colossi with mech.

Siege tanks are big, need a spotter, take a long time to siege and die fairly quickly.

Sure, if you are sieged up and waiting for him to attack you, colossi don't do that great, but otherwise? They are scary.

Add to this that they can EASILY waltz into your main, kill half your stuff and then walk out before your slow ass siege tanks get back.

EDIT: And I forgot to add: Thors cannot catch colossi. Range 9 means the thor will almost never get to even hit them :/

This is a gigantic patch, and there are so many updates, that it would be difficult to discuss them all in text, due to tl;dr. I don't really care a whole lot about the general changes, though the addition of achievements in the beta might be a bit cool. I'm glad they reduced the concussive shells...It was a real pain to research it. Additionally, I think the immortal's build time increase is long overdue. As for the new maps, i'm stoked about them. I was really hoping that we would get to play some 2v2 maps that aren't twilight fortress.
