The patch says it was sucessful but then it keeps trying to redownload it (which finishes instantly because it's already downloaded) and it keeps going in that loop.

Ok, why the FUCK do Infestors need MORE range on stealing the biggest fucking opposing unit there is, and why do we get even less of a chance to fucking split our troops on a fungal growth that KO's marines. what the fuck are they thinking?

I don't know. Making it cost 100 energy would be making it even easier to completely destroy all the probes on a saturated line. I would only need one full-energy raven instead of two.

As opposed to psi-storm which costs 75 mana?

You almost never get HSM vs P anyway - feedback is way too good vs casters for me to want to make them.

No, I think force field has to be MOSTLY the same.

What about making its range less? That's what bothers me most - all my units are too slow to escape from force field unless they have stim.

I don't like that you can permanently keep someone locked in their base either but I have no idea how to solve this - not allowing force field on ramp seems too drastic, and giving it a HP seems to defeat the purpose.

Templar don't fly on the own though. Getting a warp prism with gas-heavy cargo in it shot down is real expensive. Losing a Raven is still expensive, but less so.

can't wait to get home so i can try the new maps... too bad most are 2v2 maps

Would have liked to see something changed w/ forcefield. I really hate the mechanic a lot. Need to give it a hp bar or something.

All this patch business is well and nice, but I was hoping that the Mac client is gonna come along with it... Any word on when that will be comming? (it sure is annoying to change the OS just to play the beta)

I share your opinion there. HSM was rarely used as it is, despite doing that insane splash. Now with the average splash, I doubt it will be used at all. The energy cost is simply too high.
This road isn't leading anywhere...
