Issues with HOTS and WOL choices

Hi-o!

I just picked up HOTS and started with the campaign, straight off the bat you meet a certain someone and the game somehow doesn't recognize my choices from Wings of Liberty.

Anyone out there that have had the same issue? Was looking through the SC2 support forum, but seems people have posted there but no replies to it so I figured I'd try my luck here since I don't really want to play through it with "default" choices :\

If anyone can help me with this I'd love you forever <3

I noticed the exact same thing. But I didn't see it advertised anywhere that your choices would progress into HotS, especially since you can go back and redo levels in WoL and choose a different outcome in order to get achievements.

I'm gonna hazard a guess and say everything is working as intended.

EDIT: Guess I'm wrong. How would Blizz know what path to take if you've done the mission multiple times? Take the results of the most recent attempt?

Would be wierd if they gave us choices in WoL only to send us back to default choices when starting a new campaign. :O

I have noticed people online posting that the game is recognizing their choices. Was a guy that had issues with it only not recognizing his choices on Brutal. I will wait to play the game until I've got this sorted/told by Blizzard it's supposed to be like that :\ Since it's just bugging me big time lol

It's different. Nova/Tosh choices matters. Default is Tosh choice. But it's nothing gamebreaking.

Anyway, if you go Char before Zerus, you don't see Warfield cinematics at all?

The only difference I noticed is the dialogue between Nova and Raynor at the end of Mission 2 when Nova captures him.

Yeah that's pretty much it. Still, even if it's a tiny thing. It bugs me to no end, it feels like a bug to me.
And I'm kinda at the point where I refuse to play through it unless I know for certain it's supposed to be like that.

Since I did choose to help Nova and kill Tosh.

Also - - - SPOLIER - - - at a later stage of the campaign Matt wants to send "our agent Tosh" and Kerrigan says she will do it herself, I dunno how it goes if you pick Nova at WOL.

HoTS have choice resistant cinematics. This includes choice between raptorling/swarmling and warfield as ghost kerrigan and queen of blades kerrigan.

It does not matter what was your choice. Tosh and Hanson are default choices - and they are official history behind WoL.
