Why in the hell would they touch the Medivac?

And the fact that these people want to so badly make thors and reapers work. But shit on the Carrier and Mothership is beyond me. What is wrong with blizzard and balancing protoss?

You people need to stop rejoicing over having your race buffed and start demanding overall game balance.

Will the Tempest target the colossus as though it is an air unit? That would be best. Otherwise the current tempest change would make pvp devolve back into colossus vs colossus in the late game. That would be bad.

Widow mines not seeing cloaked units is something I've been looking for since they were introduced.
Reapers with speed are almost as fast as zerglings with speed now? Interesting for zvt. Buffing mech/air for terran in the ways that they did was brilliant though the upgrades might prove to be a bit much in tvt. The medivac changes are interesting but might be overboard concerning pvt when considered in addition to all of the other changes. We'll see.

If they let it target massive and cut the energy cost in half the new vortex might be interesting, fun to watch, less gimmicky, and still enough to make mothership worth building.

I'm a fan of literally all of the zerg changes, with the one exception being the swarm host hp buff just because I don't understand it. Was the swarm host having some kind of trouble? What are they accomplishing? Is it just an attempt at foresight to combat the infestor nerf? Weren't all of the other changes enough for that? That's a little confusing.

Blizzard seems to have this thing where they see a situation that is not good, and then make sufficient changes to one of the races to make it better, and then sufficient changes to the other race to make it better... but then doing both is too much. Time will tell. (and math, math can probably tell too)

1. Too many Medivac buffs I think. What was inherently wrong with them in the first place?

2. 5rax Reaper is back!

3. Will anyone bother to upgrade Drilling Claws for Widow Mine?

4. Glad to see they're redesigning the Thor.

5. Longer Raven range is good, but single target damage that is avoidable is not-so-good, even if it's decent damage.

6. Vortex has changed. Uh oh.

7. Dark Shrine is way too cheap now (and I'm a Protoss player). I'd rather have the Dark Shrine have other abilities or not be a dead end tech path. Or just allow us to build Dark Templar off the Templar Archives, like in BW. I can see tons of Dark Templar rushes now, especially in PvP.

8. Faster Mutalisks? Seriously? To nerf Infestors, every other fucking Zerg unit had to be buffed? Really?

^Dude, it attacks like twice per second. Thors destroy any protoss air cost effectively from 10 range with no issues whatsoever.

I think its the fact that terran is the human race and deep down none of the Blizzard creators can bear giving the alien races an edge. It goes against some primordial survival instinct.

Nope.

Mutas are 4 speed.

Phoenixes are 4.25 speed.

Just for comparison, a Medivac is 2.5 speed and a Viking is 2.75 speed in WoL.

Well I mean that would be fully retarded lol. Don't even want to consider that possibility.

There are benefits to mutas being faster in terms of say, dealing with speed prisms or the new speedy medivacs. However, I thought they were made faster to be better harass units i.e offensively, and with perhaps incidental benefits from that speed defensively?

Call me lame, but I absolutely love the new AI system. There are levels of difficulty, and you can select how the computer plays (econ focus, all out rush, timing attack, aggressive, fast tech). With their 10-level difficulty system, I can really actually see having fun playing against the computer when I don't feel like laddering.

Finally going to play some HoTs, the Thor change is very very very interesting. Ambigous tho, do we get 4 rockets at 24 each lol??????

I just saw more than 1 Terran buff without a nerf to bunker.

May finally be able to enjoy sc2 for a minute again.
