Terran changes are good. I think they overnerfed Infested Terrans (no bonus from missile and armor upgrades) TBH. Yes, they were OP in WoL but this is HotS. Thanks to the Tempest (on Protoss side), Infestor + BL isn't that OP. On the Terran side, thanks to like the bajillion buffs Terran got, Infestors aren't OP either. I think Infested Terrans should get missile and armor upgrades again. Also, I don't see why Ultralisk's burrow charge got removed. It didn't seem OP. The Tempest is now a capital ship again.... they need to increase the scale from 0.9 to 1 again! Raven's new missile is redundant with Yamato. I mean, it'll be more useful I guess in a way (it has longer range and can be used to take down nearly every unit with one cast) but I liked the concept of the old seeker missile better. So they made it more practical but more boring. Also I don't see "Added Reaver with hold fire and weapons free to Protoss" yet. Overall besides the Zerg nerf to Infested Terran and the still underused(?) Ultralisk (which I say is unneeded due to the massive buffs to the other races in HotS, again this isn't WoL), the Vortex change (unneeded IMO... as a random player, I'm being a bit bias but going up against Vortex as Zerg was worth it to be able to use Vortex when I get to play as Protoss >.>), and the lack of Reaver.... overall a good patch. (Edit) To Clarify - about Vortex. Honestly, Vortex wasn't as much as a game changing spell compared to Fungal in WoL. In HotS, it's less of a problem because Zerg doesn't rely exclusively on BL + Infestor anymore. There were several ways to counter Vortex in WoL and I rarely saw games where it decided on one spell: *Spread out BL *Use spine crawlers (which is common with pro players) to block archon's path (basically have crawlers move with BL). I forgot the game but in IEM in one Grubby's game (I think), it really showed Mothership promoting an active play. IMO, Vortex should stay as it is in WoL. I like how they didn't completely remove it but it didn't need to be changed. | ||

People missing the point that with the new vortex, Protoss now has the single best BM in-game ceremony of any race Its true. I'd go so far as to say this ceremony is OP in BMness. | ||

Looking forward to beating medivac drops away with a stick. Yeah it may end up being imbalanced, but we may we see a wild swing in the meta game and that's going to be a pretty cool wave to ride. It's the beta folks, lap it up, even if you are getting pounded in the process. | ||
