No, faster medivac can't pass the mine. Zergling on creep is the fastest thing in the game, but it can't escape the mine.

This looks really good! I am very glad to see they are not afraid to experiment with older units, now all we need is a nice buff to siege tank damage and the carrier micro implemented along with maybe another small buff, and we'll be really good!

but at the same time, they force micro, and ravens are still impractical to mass (expensive, slow to build and even slower to store up energy). You're not going to see Terrans building 20 ravens, because if they do, a smart player will roll over them (or take more bases) while they're getting that army together. So now you have a threat that you need to micro (pull back) your individual BL/Infestor against, which (combined with massive infestor nerfs) are what we've been asking for all along.

My only complaint is that some of the abilities sound kinda boring.
Voidray ability is basically just added damage. Doesn't really change the unit much, it's basically still an a-move unit, even more now that it doesn't need to keep its charge.
The medivac change probably will be rebalanced. With that amount of healing, drops in a nice position will never ever be killed by lings lol
I like the ideas over-all though.

Reapers and mutas just got faster
Too many changes to take in atm...medivac is an immense change. Thor is an immense change that is directed very obviously towards broodlords.
Widow mine change seems redundant. Quite an expensive and costly upgrade for something that will make the unit easier to use but only in certain situations. Like, most of the time with mines you're gonna wanna be laying them in advance anyway. I guess this just makes them better for stuff like dropping them in mineral lines etc or quick mid battle adjustments.

Think about this, a 3 armor marauder, literally will not be able to die against any number of zerglings. 1 marauder will be able to kill infinity zergling in the open it literally cannot die. A 3 armor marine will lose 1 hp per sec, roughly even if it was completely surrounded by zerglings. Bio will simply not be stopped by anything short of Infester+baneling ( with the projectile change i doubt this will be cost effective, plus you give up a lot to drop play ), and Collosi/Archon/HT. Literally no other unit composition can even kill bio units... think about that
bio literally cannot even die to any other unit comp, it's not possible, with the medivac upgrade

Just drop the hell out of Zerg with Marauders and snipe buildings and hatcheries while zerglings helplessly chew away at invincible Marauders, that's what they're thinking. And then you load them back up on your stimmed supermedivac and get away scot free.

Raven seeker missle needs to have it's damage reduced and given AoE, otherwise it is just a yamato cannon.

This is amazing. It will obviously need some fine tuning. But from a Terran perspective I will be coming back to SC for HotS. Not only have they finally addressed the horrible late game problems with Fungal Growth. They've given Terran some actual options..The Thor will be strong and actually worth using like other races tier 3 units. It provides Terran the ability to mech vs Protoss more effectively (I assume with the change to void rays and the new switch to anti air mode). I am a little worried however that mech TvZ could be too strong now.
Also, the medivac change. They said they wanted to buff bio in the lategame, This is the obvious answer and thats great. If they fine tune these changes well then this could actually be the best version of SC we've seen yet. Which I never thought would happen <3.
