In the first episode of Liquipedia's "HotS Unit Analyses" we take a good hard look at one of the new additions to StarCraft 2. Sure, browsing some streams while waiting for that glorious Beta Invite is fun, but as a whole new landscape of unexplored territory opens, Liquipedia would like to sit down and take a more detailed look at what's going on.
Each show we invite a special guest, we pick a unit and we spend some time looking at what this unit is, how it fits into the game and the kind of potential we can expect it to have. We will play some games, exploring the options in several matchups, discuss what's going on with our guest, and of course take viewer questions.
In our first episode we're happy to welcome  Liquid`Sheth to kick things off. Together we'll be looking at the  Viper. The show will begin on Sunday, Sep 09 10:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) and will last for approximately 2 hours. Feel free to leave any questions in this thread or in the stream's chat. We hope to see you then 
Note: We'll be trying to make this a series, but as we're wikinerds (as opposed to gosu starcraft players and amazing productioncrews) any help would be appreciated. We'll be looking for more pro players to join the show as well as capable hosts. Please let us know if you're interested!

Analyses is the plural of Analysis.
Also, this looks like a neat idea. I had a question regarding the Viper! Some people have said that if you Abduct a unit (say, a Mothership), for the duration of the "Abduct" animation, the unit is under the Zerg's control - which would likely cause the Mothership to cloak the Zerg army. Is this true? And if so, is it possible to click on a unit that is being abducted, so you could do something like use Neural Parasite on a unit while it is in the middle of the abduct animation?

that's Sheth's standard. We are working on improving this a lot from the feedback we got, thanks everyone

I love the idea of this show, it gives the players and the developers a deeper understanding of all the units and would serve to make the players explore the options behind each new unit, and then allow the developers to see what the players are doing with the units.

plus the play was totally uninteresting and Sheth is just captain boredom.

I like the idea and quite frankly, I just like seeing Sheth. The execution was a little unorganized. I think I agree with the sentiment that a show like this would work better if it was done day9 style from carefully selected replays. This would allow the guest (whom I hope to be Sheth again some time but hell get Nony on there for the protoss units) to concentrate on actually talking about the unit. If any live matches are played I think they should be observed custom matches.
