Granted, that was a bit of hyperbole on my part. I disagree, though, if people could play the beta right now on the custom map, their desire to get into the actual beta would be much lower. Blizzard wants us to want to get into the beta, however.

I really don't like the warhound against tanks. It should be a purely anti mass immortal unit or have a really long cooldown on the missiles since TvT is looking so dumb right now.

haha saw a game sjow played before his opponent did some reaper harass into a 2 tank siege mode push. Sjow just walked forward with his 4 warhounds and instakilled the first tank, did it again and then counter killed his opp while laughing at the silly unit :p

yep, because it's very very strong atm AND a new unit. ofc everybody is using it. if it still feels op in some weeks, blizz will surely nerf it somehow. think of the wol beta, in the beginning it was a completely different game.

edit: but the warhound is pretty boring to watch, that's for sure.
first we make expand, then we defense it.

Warhounds remind me of 1 supply roaches.

The game seems to revolve around terran just building a bunch of warhounds and the opponent scrambling to counter them in any way possible, usually failing.

Im not going to comment on what the warhound does, how strong it is or anything like that.

my biggest beef with it is that it looks absolutely hideous! in large numbers like shown on forggs stream just looks so very very wrong..

I cant really believe that this is the best look that the designers came up with.

i dont even know how to properly express my feelings on the look and feel of the warhound.. im just at a loss for words.

It looks to me a lot like the Goliath and functions a lot like a goliath on that note, why cant it shoot up? I mean I know they gave it a different name and shot animation but its a goliath in everything but name and the fact that it cant shoot up.

This would be like if in LotV marines suddenly couldnt shoot up or Hydras I would just be looking at the unit wondering whats going on for about 5 minutes every single time.

I know that in WOL you used to be-able to drag and drop replays without logging in. You should try and see if that works.

They are overpowered because Blizzard lack data to analyze? Isn't that the whole point of beta? I seriously see no reason why not give their feedback now, be it whatever it be. It's not like they will nerf or buff it just based around on how many people are complaining about a unit, they are analysing arguments, not just numbers(at least I hope they aren't).

PS: I agree with you about collecting more experience with the strategies before giving a feedback though.
