actually, it would be a better ending if the "helpless" kerrigan killed raynor and let the other marines flee (dunno how, but she managed to pull of the weapons from tychus, so she won't be killed) but noooooo, we have the "knight in shinig armor routine" (if kerrigan called the situation like this, don't remember) And what with the Protoss? Do the Terrans have more courage than the Protoss? Kinda strange that the protoss don't care for their safrifices. So why hadn't the Zerg any consequences? why didn't arrive a massive protoss fleet upon char? is the fleet of the Terrans bigger, or do the Protoss just don't care about Kerrigan (okay, she killed so many protoss that thy would have to care, but Blizzard scrapped that)
So, with Raynor beeing dead and the Invasion beeing stopped, Kerrigan is physically weak now and a massive Protoss fleet is approaching upon Char to take an end to this mess. In the Zerg campaign, you have Kerrigan, first escaping fromChar, loosing the Planet and gathering the Zerg that didn't manage to return to Char while the Invasion. The time is running out, because the little Groups of zerg are mindless now and will be killed, so you have to be fast and take control over them all, before they'll be wiped out. Of course, the Protoss are following her and Mengsk don't knows, if Kerrigan was dead or deinfested.
So, now some spoiler, because it's has something to do with the leaked ending + Show Spoiler +Somehow, kerrigan mutates in the end of the Campaign to the Queen of blades back again and invades with a small number korhal. now, she alone has to infiltrate Mengsk builing and kill him personally. The mission is succesfull, mengsk is dead. (he hadn't the device he used in the end of hots and raynor was dead, so Kerrigan kills him alone)THe majority of the zerg is dead, the dominion has fallen and the protoss are still following her.
in legacy of the void, the darkvoice comes to orhal to, meeting the protoss and a battle starts, the fleet loses against the swarm of the darkvoice, Kerrigan escapes again, nobody knows where she is now. in lotv you have to find a way to kill the Darkvoice, so you need Kerrigan again (yes i know, kerigan is always needed ---> zeratul said, only she can kill the darkvoice) so the protoss have to gather thier forces and need to find/ally with kerrigan to stop the darkvoice and blah, tired of posting now.
Don't think you would like to have something similar in hots/lotv, but i just hate the ending of wol
Sorry for the massive amount of misspelling.

Thats what happen for eating fatty terran foods and booze compare to consuming low fat zerglings and hydralisk blood for dinner.

blizzard leaked that deliberate to make us think that's what's gonna happen, when in fact the full video will show that this is simply Raynor's WET DREAM after rescuing Kerrigan.

Ever since I was accidentally exposed to a Spanish dub of the Species movies when I was in middle school, I've had an "interest" in sexy alien girls.
Dunno if it was wise to reveal that to the public.

what the crap?! anyways, the queen of blades already looks like a bastard between peggy bundy and a milf pornstar. nothing sexy lol but this is seriously retarded

If it comes out in April 2012 I will fail all my IB exams, it won't be good....
(off topic) you don't have to point out you're in IB in all your messages. Makes you sound pompous. And don't worry, from personal experience, IB exams aren't as hard as you think they will be. (/off topic)
I guess this Kerrigan pic confirms you'll be playing as Zerg in HOTS but a zerg force that is controlled by Raynor's forces via Kerrigan. That's what it says to me anyway.

I think she's making a good view for the first fiew missions... But she'll come back as a zerg... probably... Else it wont satisfy jim, if they get together ;D It wont satisfy me either ^^
...
yeah i am arkward ;P

liked her better when she was fully infested

Hmmm... it's not horrible, I guess, but it's not great either. I guess overall, I don't care too much... what I care about, Blizzard, take note, is Lurkers... just give us our Lurkers back already D:

Even if that is her it's not really anything new since she looks like this in the end video as well so really nothing too new. I think the biggest problem with SC2s story is that the overmind allready died and with him dying kerrigan got the lead and in my opinion just sucks;). So having the Overmind die was a great end for SC1 but a terrible thing for if you want to continue the SC story;). Just my opinion.

I think it's going to be a big drama between Nova, Kerrigan and the Doctor on who Raynor likes best!!
No, but serious I like the concept It's a good one and I have hopes for Heart of the Swarm. I think Kerrigan will remain in control of atleast parts of the swarm. But I think the "Queens" will be the new masters of the Zerg. Maybe more factions within the Zerg again.... Or maybe the idea is to evolve Zerg into something the "Darkmind" can't control and only a "free" Kerrigan can do that?

not a fan of the fire coming out of the hand... what's with that? is she a mage?
The face doesn't look right either, the nose or something... It just doesn't look like kerrigan. Pretty disappointed... Hope they work on the concept a bit more.

Not fire, psionic... um....it's Kerrigan, she can crush Battlecruisers with her mind.

Its like when I went to WWI and the "big" and "surprise" announcement was Diablo III, yet the first thing you saw when you were approaching the venue was a huge diablo on the wall....
What mistery? We all say what happened to Kerrigan at the end of WoL. And since HotS will follow the Zerg point of view it makes sense that they show a glimpse of the main character. Were you expecting an Overlord as key image to HotS?
Pooping flying creatures don't sell games. Kerringan does....^^

Is it me or is any disappointed that she looks like the kerrigan in leaked ending? I was really hopeing that it end a different way

I thought it was pretty good ): Lots of people are upset with the Starcraft 2 campaign. It's not surprising though. You have to come to expect it from the internet. I liked the campaign, and I really like the deinfestation idea in general. Its execution was a little meh, but the overall idea is really cool. I think a lot of people are upset with it because they wanted Jimmy to run up to Kerrigan and then go "Kerrigan, I love you" and then for her to smash his face in and split his body in half while laughing and then take over the universe. The Starcraft Brood War ending was absolutely terrible. "Kerrigan wins... The End" and yet its campaign was loved everywhere... why? I think it is probably based in some sort of fetish for strong infested alien women dominating the universe or something. So if you deinfest Kerrigan AND stop her from taking over the universe and killing everyone, then it is like a double blow to those kind of people, hence the rage. The Broodwar campaign was interesting and had quite a lot of depth. How often do the bad guys win in a videogame? That gives the sequals a lot more tension, because the gamers know that the standard clichés don't always apply. That's why I was quite dissapointed with the "fairy tale"-like quality of WoL. The ending of Kerrigan taking over the universe was radical and it seems many people don't think it was addressed properly in the sequel.
