I massed cloaked wraith and protected them with ravens point defense drone. Threw in a few nukes in the mix and got all achievements. When the zerg move to infest they only bring 1-2 overseers, target them and the rest is free kills, they don't even flee. Generally on all missions. the AI handle your cloaked units really bad... abuse away

The missions where you get a base are harder if you try to complete them by being stubbord like me and not mining and just winning with what units you have at the start. Sure some levels were harder than others, like some took me over 15 afk minutes to complete and I had to use load in some but just because I wanted to get all bonus objectives and pretty much most achievements on the first go. Some missions were supereasy so I tried to complete those with zero units lost just for the fun of it. It comes down to SCV micro and making sure you keep an eye on the minimap. I really don't get what all the fuss is about, I completed it in one sitting while eating, I guess I just have solid strategy and micro or something. I think I should write a guide. Anyway, brutal was fun and boring, looking forward to the promised 2-3 harder that brutal levels for the upcoming campaign. replays or it didn't happen

![]() Seriously: All-in seemed impossible before I realized how important it is to kill nydus worms quickly. In Utter Darkness was extremely frustrating because I was underestimating the importance of graviton beaming the hybrids

All-In Welcome to the Jungle To a much smaller degree "The Great Train Robbery" I have 40+ saves from In Utter Darkness, kept trying to go back to tweak the ending. Went from 1900->2100->->2300->2400, but that's where I capped out over and over and over and over again. I hate that mission now with a fiery passion. In hindsight I know it was just a macro error, but I was too lazy to do it all over again. All-In I did with the Nydus Worms, I kept trying everything: Mass BC, Mass Banshee, Barracks Wall Off, nothing was working. Then I saw the OP as hell Siege Strategy, did that, and beat it effortlessly. But even before I switched to Siege Tanks I kept getting to 96-98%. But at that point I couldn't kill Kerrigan the last time. So frustrating. That's why I hate All In and In Utter Darkness, it's like they designed it so that it's easy til about 80% left then you somehow have to defend insanity for 20%. It catches you off-guard and you fail at about 90-95% every time. Welcome to the Jungle is really just hard until you get more tech options. It was one of the first mission trees I went down and I had to stop. The Protoss is just too strong without some more research/tech. Everytime I went out to get Terrazine or stop the Protoss from capping a node, I got attacked in the rear. Siege Tanks made the mission easy as all get out, but doing it early one is so ridiculously hard while trying to get all the relics as well.

The Zerg couldn't do anything against the settlers, I just wiped the floor with them, then landed to kill the ground forces. Then it was just a matter of massing a couple brigades of MMM and/or Firebats/Siege to come clean out the ground forces. It was a oneshot for all the achievements. I know that's totally unhelpful because we all found some missions easy taht other people find impossible. I only bring it up because it's the Viking level. It seems like all the "air unit" missions are made trivial by massing the air unit they give you in the mission. At least, that's how I did the Viking, Banshee, Medivac, BC, and Wraith levels. EDIT: Shit, meant to edit my last post, sorry.

but for all in, with nydus worms, i spent so long with so many different strats. eventually build a 2 rax thick wall on each side, spammed tanks and made 4 thors to deal with kerrigan. and even then, with 95% charge i pulled all my scvs and only barely made it. both were very challenging and very satisfying to complete, im glad they weren't easy ![]()

Engine of Destruction is really interesting in that people have found so many unique strategies to winning after many failed tries. Someone on the first page said mass ghosts; what the heck? I eventually won with triple-starport wraiths. I also never figured out that I could buy some time by letting him solo the first base, which probably would have made it easier. I'm disappointed that I haven't gotten any comments on my hard-earned Kerrigan avatar, and I've run into a lot of people sporting raynor or the general. For Haven's Fall I just spammed pure vikings which allowed me to stop all the infestations, and then supported them with a few tanks+merc tanks. Took out all the bases with nothing but tanks+vikings.

I beat the final mission both ways. I think the nydus worms are easier. I made 2 control groups of banshees (3 in each group) and had them snipe nydus worms and sat behind 99999 tanks. I didn't get the planetary fort upgrade because I wanted to try out those flamethrowers (they suck) so i just walled with some raxes. haven's fall was one of the easiest missions in the game, you literally make 2 units.. vikings and tanks. Clear the top base first as it has no air units. Then the right base then bottom. I didn't even use siege mode I just attack moved over them. The waves that hit you are extremely weak.. 1 ultra from the top and like 8 mutas from the bottom. I don't recall having any issues on this, but I didn't use any bio.

My all-in is insanely difficult as I lack a lot of the useful upgrades and am on the air version.
