Also, you won't be getting any achievements when you play offline and your campaign progress isnt saved to your bnet account. | ||

just a clarification, so once i played online then im fine to play offline anytime ? i dont have to login everytime before removing my internet cable. | ||

Clearly, a lot of people are having issues with offline mode, and Blizzard isn't saying anything. For j4vz, you have got to test it man if you got offline mode. Do this: 1. Play, as was stated for at least 30 seconds with an internet connection. 2. Exit SC2 3. Disconnect your PC from internet 4. reboot. 5. run sc2 without internet connection If no orange box appears telling you to authenticate your client, you're good to go. On the other hand, you're in for one nasty fact: you need to have constant internet connection to play. Now, this will go and explode once battle.net goes down for maintenance. You all are pretty into the game right now and everything's fine, right? Wait till you need the offline mode. I'm sorry if I sound frustrated, but I am. I just can't get this off me, and have been screaming for a fix for two days and there's just nothing. And people think it's alright, and are not helping voicing out this issue to Blizzard. It's sad, and true, people won't scream until they get the hit. I don't care if I don't need it now, but I sure will need it sometime, and I wouldn't want to have to rattle like a hairy rat when it comes knocking at my doorstep with a shotgun at my head. So, please, those claiming to know it's working, try the steps above before you tell people a solution that doesn't work, or assuring them of something that isn't actually there. You should take this act by blizzard as a slap on your face. They promised this 30 day feature, but it's not here. No one's gonna notice because everyone will be so busy playing and online right? Well, something's terribly wrong. I apologize for my frustration, and I just can't say it enough to have people support and bring this up to blizzard in numbers. Hell, people can complain in doves for a +1 armor, but for something like this? I feel betrayed, and this is fbs tbh. Please help us with this issue by bombarding Blizzard in their forums with a complaint. Thank you. | ||

this is what happened to Microsoft's customers. some time ago, MSFT launched a music download service. ppl pay for each music they dl. however, you can only listen to the music if you authenticate online every time. in 2008, due to bad economy, MSFT decided to shutdown the business. those who paid for the music are getting screwed bad. | ||
