I finished 8-9 missions thus far, and i gotta say, i have mixed feelings.
I do find the features blizzard created for inbetween missions pretty interesting, takes you into the story on a more personal level from having been so close to the central characters.
The missions themselves are cleverly designed as far as i can tell, each having a different concept and special strategy which requires critical thinking to solve (i play it on Brutal level).
However, i find that the storyline until now, is rather bland and filler'ish. Spoilers!! basically Raynor and his bunch of ragtag group of rebels, go on random missions to try and accumulate resources in order to prepare for a big showdown, or something.
Well, maybe i have to play it out until the end, and hope the story gets fleshed out eventually into something thrilling.
Cheers, Alex

The story takes a bit to really kick off, but It's really interesting, personally I like the story so far, what I don't like is that in some missions they ask just a bit too much, or stuff takes too long. + Show Spoiler +the laser beam and the number of infested buildings you have destroy.
other than that, the best Blizzard RTS to date

I'm enjoying the campaign, but starting with some tech is realy throwing me off(stop building scv's too soon). I do love the clasic M&M ^_^

So far i managed to finish missions much much faster and easier by resorting to M&M. Medics are too good not to use them

I agree with you about the story, although it does develop later on it's more of a collection of subplots than a main arc for the first 20 missions or so - the characters are what saves it for me, their personalities are really well thought out and the dialogue and voice acting is top class.
