Rivers is ugly, but its compact with a decently high release point, Tebow's was slow and long (he'd drop the ball to his waist) with only a decent release point. I dont know if Fultz can recover his old form, but it was good. Ball's form is bad because he can't shoot properly when dribbling, plus it has a low release point and slow release. You'd think with the amount of money on the line and the availability of coaching they would attempt to change their mechanics. I realize they developed their habits for much longer than I, but I was able to completely change my shot at age 19 with no help.

it's easier to convince someone to change their mechanics after clear failure. If Lonzo ends up having a full season of shooting very badly his mind will be wide open to making a change. On a related note, LBJ altered his jump shot this summer. he is what? 33? It is early , however, The Eastern Conference has more wins this year than the West while the Cavs have a losing record. Hands up all those who called that? In that weekly rookie chart i post here its all Eastern Conference guys in the top-right quadrant.

With Ball they even talked about how he had to much to learn and too much to adjust to in his first year and they would work on his shot next off season. Lots of people alter their shots, some it works out some can't break the habits I guess we will see with ball.

https://squared2020.com/2017/11/05/defensive-ratings-estimation-vs-counting/ when reading about any player or team defensive rating its important to find out if it is estimated or actual. in the example provided here the 76ers team defensive rating was 104.90. Its estimated rating was 102.17. The estimation is good, but not perfect. To get an actual rating requires automated (or manual) digging through play-by-play data. Estimated ratings come from boxscore data.

Lots of people alter their shots, some it works out some can't break the habits I guess we will see with ball. The issue is that there will always be a drop off while they are working on their shot. It happens. The more they practiced and worked on their previous shot, the harder the drop off will be. And there's always the temptation to use the old form whenever they get cold shooting the new shot. I'm guessing there's a minimum of six months before the new shot could potentially be better than the old one. Even in a freaking desk job, consultants predict that it takes roughly six months to get back to the previous productivity after changing your database/enterprise/transaction software.

i will bet you that Eastern Conference Sophomores are substantially outperforming their Western Conference counterparts.

O'Quinn just delivered a bodycheck Mark Messier would be proud of.... Isaiah Thomas with a tech.. Wade with a tech... Enes Kanter and LBJ with double tech.... its mayhem in the garden! The Cavs are getting beat up.

And last night they played without Gobert. i'd say Hill > Rubio > Teague. Utah replacing Hill with Rubio makes Utah slightly worse both offensively and defensively.

This will be my last response to you because we all know how that goes. I was speaking about the game i watched last night and you clearly didnt. Rubio was bad not just statisically but on both ends. Could have been an off night who knows but last night it was not close. Twolves clearly thought teague was a better fit for them. They both have different strengths. Everything i have read about hill is he has disapointed in sac. He is going from a better team to a worse team which usually leads to a bump in usage and stats. Hill has regressed in both. Its fine your opinion is that. But that doesnt make it a fact. And it is a fact that in the game last night rubio was bad (gobert didnt make he go 0 for 6 for mostly open 3)have more turnovers then assists and do nothing to slow teague. One night for sure Teague >>>>> Rubio Edit: because you clearly cant read i didnt say teague is a better player or rubio is worse. I said teague was much better last night. Seriously you have 0 reading comprehension. Edit 2: since i didnt quote your post i must not have been responding to it. Heck im not responding to you now. Im editing for everyone elses benefit since many people have said they dont like the back and forth filling the thread. You have shown on every thread you either dont care about others or you are completely socially unaware. Either way it has got you banned before and im sure it will happen again.

This does not make them bad players. The primary ball-handler/distributor relies on all of their team mates more than other players. Both Hill and Rubio didn't suddenly become bad players because they're in bad situations. Jeff Teague is a slightly above average PG. Rubio is slightly better than him and Hill is slightly better than Rubio. Orlando Magic Vucevic has really blossomed under Vogel's new offense so i have no idea how Biyombo is going to get many minutes.

Toronto's defensive rating with Derozan on the floor : 110 Toronto's defensive rating without Derozan : 94. ouch. This is a mystery to literally nobody who has paid any amount of attention to the team for the last 3-4 years. I even understand this, and I'm nothing more than an unashamed bandwagon fan. The only people confused about this are the casual observer that checks boxscores until playoffs start and they become, "Literally, the biggest fan ever! Like, Lowry man, and DeRozan... jeez!"

of course, they're both owned by the guys that own the Raptors so i guess we shouldn't expect too much. OG needs to start at SF. I'd like to see Powell start at shooting guard and Derozan come off the bench... but i don't ever see that happening.
