Also 2nd Bundesliga at 19k, not 22k. But this may be due to the fact that for this season, 2 bigger teams in Stuttgart and Hannover got relegated to the 2nd division. I found this list to be quite interesting on its own, as it contains some entries which I wasnt aware of before.

Newcastle (52,405) and Aston VIlla (42,785) been relegated has hurt the Premier League's average attendance badly. Villa are not coming back any time soon. Sunderland (49,000) will be relegated this year. The way the Premier Lague has moved on has meant that some of the big traditional clubs that have fallen behind are in real trouble. Hopefully that means they will invest if they can and catch up but a lot of clubs never come back once they get relegated. We have some properly small clubs up and doing well in the Premier League no one would begrudge Bournemouth or Burnley doing what they are doing.
The Bundersliga consistently beats the Premier League for not just average attendance but total attendance which is dam impresive since there are 74? less matches.

I looked at the numbers for this season, which has so far an average of 21859 for the 2nd Bundesliga, making it the 4th most visited league in Europe
Not sure where Faruko pulled his LaLiga number though, as it also is at 27799 average this season

Nah, last year PL had overall more fans in the stadium. As linked by Mafe, 13,851,698 for PL vs 13,249,778 for BL. Still Bundesliga wins on average attendence. And yes, it is 74 games difference, 380 vs 306

OK thanks for the clarification Bundesliga doesn't quite beat Premier League for total attendance.
There's a Hamburger circling the drain in the Bundesliga. How do they consitantly manage not to get relegated? I predict both Sunderland and Hamburg to be relegated this year. But at least one of them will somehow manage one more miracle and stay up.

Thats not exactly a good argument since having bigger stadiums doesnt mean bigger attedance per se, just the "possibility" of having higher maximum. the Bundesliga has the top tier attedance for quite a lot of reason, not just because bigger stadiums and cheaper.
Being cheaper is a big reason imo.

38,735 average
Eibar decreases the average a lot with their 6,267 stadium (Altought Eibar has a population of 27,440 so the stadium capacity is 1/4 of the population) (PD; Eibar is awesome and they played offensive all game against R.Madrid without parking the bus even after Real Madrid drawed)

Arsenal sell out almost every match despite the high ticket prices.

They "say" they sell out every match but the stadium can look very empty at times! However my look into attendances and what not see a drop in seasonly figures from Bundesliga at least, can't find the figures for premier league though. 2014-15 is higher than 2015-16 and that should drop again this season due to two big stadiums have dropped out of the main league.
Also have to remember London prices are London prices. They have a different wage structure to the rest of the United Kingdom. For example, the "living wage" which was introduced last year for people over 25 still on minimum wage, puts London workers over 25 on a salary of £18,500 a year compared to the rest of the UK who are over 25 on £14,500 or something on those lines. However i do concede that no matter the wage you are on, the housing/flat/renting market is actually plain robbery in london. So they still probably no better off!

The attendance should be the number of people in the stadum. But I totally understand why clubs like Arsenal count tickets that are sold and then no one turns up. It's not really their fault the punter didn't turn up and I guess the club finances only care if the ticket is sold or not. But yeah attedance shouldn't really count these people.

Seems like Chile want to skip WC2018

Bayern doesnt like it and changed the policy for 2 years. You have a saison-ticket and if you don't visit at least 9 of 17 games (bundesliga home games), you can not buy a saison-ticket for next season.

It also depends, if season tickets are ID bound or not. I know quite a few season ticket owners, who use their season ticket just for a bunch of games, but give it to family members, friends, colleagues etc all the time when they aren't going. If they are bound to one person in England, that is suddenly not possible anymore.

Hasn't England been statistically super similar to Mexico in the past WCs?

I still can believe that Giroud played in the Eurocup in the main team, and Dechamps didn't call Gameiro after his great year in Sevilla. Gameiro + Griezman couple is amazing.
