refs can make basketball into either snooker or a full contact sport. the shooting will be affected by the physicality of the play.

That doesn't make it legal, this isn't soccer. You can't catch ball first on a block and crush the dude.

if the warriors win I hope they give iggy the mvp and not curry because he hit a lot of 3's. curry's been playing like total shit, was totally invisible for the first 3 games. if not iggy, then give it to lebron for entering the stratosphere
|
Probably give it to Lebron anyways, dude is carrying his team up Mt. Everest

If he continues averaging 40-12-9, sure... but if he fizzles out, I wouldn't give him the MVP for playing 3 insane games out of 6

agreed. He's been playing at a superstar level for 4 games now. They'd probably get blown out w/o him because Barnes nor Green have any hope of defending Lebron.

Haha, nice catch.
From medicine.net :
Calcium is found in a variety of foods, but the amount that your body absorbs varies. Oxalic acid and phytic acid both interfere with the absorption of calcium. Foods rich in oxalic acid are spinach, rhubarb, sweet potatoes, and beans. Foods rich in phytic acid are unleavened bread, nuts, seeds, and raw beans. You will absorb some of the calcium in these foods, but not as much as you would from foods that do not contain oxalic acid or phytic acid. For example, calcium absorption from dried beans is about half of what you absorb from milk, and calcium absorption from spinach is about one-tenth of that absorbed from milk. There is no need to omit these foods from your diet. Instead, consume a variety of calcium-rich foods throughout the day.

which is why you go to a variety of sources and with people you trust. and also do your own personal "smell test" with the theories they are claiming explain their viewpoint.
i go with Dr. John Berardi ( published and famous ) and Dr. Michael Gitterman ( practical and under the radar).
both say there is no need for an adult human to drink the milk of other animals. you can get calcium from a dozen other great sources.
neither of these guys are vegans, vegatarians, or even left wing

Milk is like corn or potatoes. Eat if you enjoy eating them, but not for any perceived health benefit.

You totally turned the argument on its head.
The original assertion was (somewhat jokingly) that milk caused osteoporosis. Even if that were only slightly true, it would only be relevant to a person at risk of osteoporosis, like a post menopausal woman.

So... question is once again, can Lebron survive anothe Finals game.

What are you expecting to happen, him passing out due to exhaustion? I don't understand your question.

Conflicted between watching game of thrones season finale vs. game 5..... Anyone else having this dilemma? I'm leaning more towards watching the game and watching a stream of the season finale right after the final buzzer...

That choice is made for me.

I'm leaning more towards watching the game and watching a stream of the season finale right after the final buzzer... I'm facing this dilemma as well. If it's a blowout, I'm going to watch GoT live, but if it's not, I'll catch it tomorrow morning on HBO GO. Do you know when they post it? I assume it's after the West Coast feed.
