Would you prefer "Ball-Ghazi"? That has been my personal favorite. I think it's just classless enough to really capture the significance of the careless reporting. The word "Balls" has been said more in the last week than probably the whole recorded history of cable news. I won't be surprised to see the guys from Southpark calling out news shows for managing to talk about sticky, roughly handled balls, (without getting censored) and saying balls more times than they have even been able to fit in a Southpark episode.
