All of the players in the NFL are released, and you have to form a big board of who you'd want to bring on to your franchise. Age and contracts matter. How many QBs do you take before you take Watt and Gronk?
Around 8 i would guess.
If this season has proven something it is that you wont win shit without an above avarage QB. Besides the Bangels and the Cardinals there was no playoff team without a long term franchise quaterback.
Watt and Gronk are great dont get me wrong but in todays nfl the QB matters too much to pick them first in a fantasy draft situation. Thats why Wilson and Luck will be the highest payed QBs even there are some that are better.

It's funny how many people ignore this. Yeah, they didn't need the advantage against the Colts but how long has it been going on?

And Gronk can block, too, unlike many of the top catching tight ends we have currently.

I've asked a bunch of people and everyone has answered between 4 and 8, and that's the amazing thing. The QB position is so absurdly valuable and yet those two are still that good.

the more interesting question is how many qb do you take before ODBJESUS
and is eli included
|
I'd take current day Tim Couch over ODB.
I'd take Tim Tebow over Eli Manning.
Jamarcus Russell is the best QB in NFL history.

and is eli included I take a bunch of them, like 12 to 16. For example, Matt Ryan, or ODB?

Gronk can block, but one would think that the Pats would like to avoid having to do that when possible lol.

Well he does have a point. The controversy has zero to do with the outcome of the Colts-Pats game.

I would compare it to when Mitt Romney's father ran for president: he was born in Mexico, which by rule does not allow him to run for president. The rule shouldn't matter, but you still have to follow it because it is in the rulebook.

i think there should be rules and guidelines about the air pressure in the ball. the line must be drawn at some point otherwise the 2 teams could be playing with a completely different ball.
Several QBs have gone on the record stating they like the ball to be an exact certain way and the smallest of changes to the ball can make a world of difference to them.
The investigation into "Deflate-Gate" is in and of itself a punishment for the Patriots. The longer it goes ... and the longer New England is left twisting in the wind....

And everything to do with the fact that they may have cheated. They didn't know they'd win 45-7 before they allegedly altered the pressure of the footballs. It'd be like installing a maphack, seeing that the guy you're playing is a total noob or you're about to get a build order win or something, turning it off and crushing face anyways. You still used a maphack guy.

I thought they did have a guideline to the acceptable min and max amount the ball can be inflated. 12.5 to 13.5 isn't it?

Here:
Have you ever gone over the Speed Limit and not gotten caught? I've gone 5 years without a ticket, at least. How many guys do you know that got caught by the cops the first time they smoked weed? Almost 0%.
So how unlucky is Tom Brady to have the first time he ever played with illegal balls to have been caught? Hes not that unlucky.
And isn't it interesting that one of the things that everyone has always said about Tom Brady (particularly when comparing him to Manning) is that he is great outdoors in bad weather?

Oh so Brady and N.E. are the only ones doing this? ...like you (or me) speeding, how often are you just keeping up with the speed of traffic?

There isn't a police officer scanning your speed every time you go to speed. With Brady there are refs holding every ball both before and after he gets to hold it.

Not that the refs can't do a better job, but they probably aren't handling the balls in a way that a PSI change is very noticeable. The ball won't weigh more or less(well it will, but a very insignificant amount less), it will 'give' more or less if you attempt to grip it tightly. Maybe in the future they will be because they are now aware that this is something that is actually happening?

Man NE really digs for their players haha.
Also notable: The Pats have six penciled-in starters from non-Power 5 schools, including one from Brown of the Ivy League (FB James Develin) and one from non-FCS Southeast Missouri State (LG Dan Connolly).

A lot of ppl think BB is cheap and that's why he trades down; it's actually because he misses more than he hits on first round talent and getting more shots at later rounds with those non-power 5 guys pays off.
