The 175 looks a lot worse from the front angle, it deserved to be red lighted even if it was disappointing. Definitely my best clean ever though. I'll see you next time, three slabs of beef.

Nice job Decaf. Shame they were red lighted. I almost went to the Arnold Classic, but couldn't make it this weekend. Way too busy for my own good.

I've thought about including 2 sets of 20 reps in my routine after doing barbell row but i've read that it's more an esthetic exercice than a strength one. And what could I do if not that (I'm already doing barbell row and chin up/pull up).

And what could I do if not that (I'm already doing barbell row and chin up/pull up). Heavy shrugs have helped a ton with my deadlift, copied from chaos and pain. I do 5-10 sets of triples, remove 40-60kgs and a do a drop set of 10-20 reps. To put things in perspective I shrugged 280x3x8, 220x15 or smth 10 days before my last meet (where I deadlifted 268kg). They key is to do it with as much body/hip swing as possible, it's ok if you can't get all the way up, thats what the drop set is for; you need to thigh lift it from a rack and then shrug; you need straps and a barbell that won't be fucked up permanently. The benefit comes from handling a really heavy load and a putting mass on your upper back. Then I usually barbell row, do pull ups, and then eat a shitload of food. I'd say it is great for building the deadlift but fucks you up for cleans/snatches cause you hip drive with bad back/hip angles compared to the oly lifts. That could be said about the deadlift itself though. I actually miss shrugs :'(

![]() I broke 90kg 5-5-5 3 weeks ago, and been working since on 92.5kg which I just managed to get up 3-3-2. It seems such a little jump but feels impossibly heavy.

350mg epa 460mg dha i will store it in dark and take 1 tablespoon AM and 1 tablespoon PM which is possibly 35ml/day = 2450 mg eph/day and 3220 mg dha/day correct me if that's overboard my sick fucking Tuf-Wear boxing training gloves (£40) and giant duffel bag (£12) came too. the other day i randomly felt like swinging some punches and it felt sick (been doing some ab work LOL). i read you could fill a canvas bag with sand instead of forking out £££ for a punch bag and found this on amazon + Show Spoiler + http://www.amazon.co.uk/HEAVY-MILITARY-GREEN-CANVAS-HOLDALL/dp/B002YY7YKY/ref=sr_1_1?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1394041287&sr=1-1&keywords=HEAVY+DUTY+MILITARY+GREEN+CANVAS+ARMY+KIT+BAG%2FHOLDALL + Show Spoiler + http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tuf-Wear-Gym-Safety-Sparring-Glove/dp/B005SRH5E4/ref=sr_1_1?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1394041320&sr=1-1&keywords=Tuf-Wear+Gym+Safety+Sparring+Glove+-+Black%2FWhite%2C+16oz the gloves are heavy as hell (good for training) and the bag looks really strong and no holes so can fill with sand(?) i guess fill it with cloth and sand coz pure sand weighs like 1500kg/metre3 also bought some "mexican style hand wrap 180" coz apparently you wrap your hand before putting it in the glove or you'll fracture it.
