Funny you should mention creatine, I just got mine in the mailbox. Ready for ALL KINDS OF GAINS.

Blaah slight forward lean at the bottom of the squat and I went and tweaked my back again. Nothing major but I had a goal weight all set for the end of november >_< hopefully I can try again on saturday.

So this morning there's like 3-4 people at the treadmill/bike area and me and two buddies in the weights area. One is in a squat rack and the other is at one of 3 flat benches looking at himself to lateral raises or something and I'm at one of two "bench" benches. This older gentleman walks in, a regular, as I go get water outside the room. I return in 15 seconds and he's stretching his hamstrings on the bench I have 205lb on. Literally nothing on or near any of the other 3 benches. I scan the nearly empty room in disbelief. I walk over to my buddy and see he's barely concealing a smirk. I mean what the heck.

He's declaring his territory. All your benches are belong to him.

So you said, hey bro, im working here?

Haha, this reminds me of the other day when this kid walked up and started unloading the 275 lbs off the bar I had just been rowing. Dude took one look at my mustache and immediately apologized. He even said, "Sorry, boss." lol

I was planning on supersetting so I did shrugs and he was done in a minute. You'd think it would have crossed his mind but maybe it was because a lot of people just leave their weights around.

I'm glad there's only maybe 20 guys that use the weights at my gym, and they all know me at least enough to know that when I'm done, I'll clean up after myself, and if I left the weights on I'm coming back so stay the hell away.

Did you get an official diagnosis decaf?
|
Yep just got it. I was pretty much spot on. Don't need surgery and generally they don't do surgery even for complete tears of just the PCL. Just rehab it and see where I'm in 4-6 weeks. I'm not sure what they're going to have me to strengthen my legs rofl. I'm just gonna keep doing rowing/RDLs while working on range of motion and upper body work on the side of PT. At this rate I should be able to do bodyweight squats pretty soon!

Eleiko just released a weightlifting app on their facebook (post) that lets you compare your lifts at normal or up to 5x slower than normal side by side with your previous lifts or with the lifts done by Apti Aukhadov in the library.
Seems like a useful tool to have, though it's only for iOS atm. It's free as well.

getting so close to breaking down and buying 10 packets of salt n vinegar crisps, £20 of pizza and 2 portions of chips
instead had 400g tinned salmon (80g protein lol) + potatoes

19 straight days of quality nutrition (minus some cocacola) even if everything else is shitty ....... sticking apples in my mouth whenever i go carb-crazy is helping a lot
i weighed myself at 86kg today which is surprisingly high still (not a bad thing)

Alright, update! I purchased all my gym stuff and it all came in:
-Sport 9.0 Powerblock Dumbbells with Stage II Expansion (5lb-70lb) -Powerblock Stand -Adjustable bench in 8 positions, for -20deg to 90deg -Leg attachment for bench so I can do decline exercises -45lb 7' olympic bar -255lb of quality steel weights -Full squat cage, 550lb weight limit, has a few different pull up bars on top of the rack -Cable attachment to do lat pulldowns, or horizontal rows, cable bicep curls, triceps, etc. -For cable attachments, I purchased a wide bar to do pull downs, and I also purchased this triangle thing to do rows. Maybe I'll get a rope attachment thing to do tricep extentions, but I dunno yet.
Grand total: $1,655. I'm still considering buying a weight rack for $70~, and then if I want to do the flooring (Plywood then rubber), that'd be another $200. Carpet has been okay though, even for squats, since my carpet isn't fluffy and whatnot. I shall see once I go to higher weights though. Besides that, I have all my big things bought, I'm sure I'll buy some small things in the future like different bars, resistance bands, rollers, etc.
I guess one thing I'm missing is a 15lb bar to do curls, skullcrushers, and whatnot, but I think I'm able to do all of them with the 45lb bar, although for some things it's hard to do a warm up with 45lb olympic haha.
People who have been on this thread for a while know I have been here for quite some time (not recently), and I used to workout a decent bit, up to the end of high school (summer 2012), my lifts were at:
275lb squat 315-335lb deadlift 205lb bench 8-10 pull-ups w/ 10lb weighted 10-12 dips w/ 45lb weighted 60lb sitting OHDP
Age: 18 Height: 5'10" Weight: 170

Lets continue with what happened then. I started university, taking an Engineering degree. I found a nice lady (who I am still with), and all my time started to fill up. When I had some free time, I didn't work out as I was too tired, once my body started going downhill a little bit, I lost even more motivation. I had no need to party, and I didn't hate life, I was happy, but I was not happy with my body.
Well lets move on to second year, I got into my choice of Mechanical Engineering, but Engineering was too easy of a degree for me, so I said hey, lets take another university degree so I could achieve more, so I don't get bored. So I decided to take an Economics degree as well. Usually this takes 6 years, I wanted to finish it in 4. Every semester from the second year onwards, I have been taking 7 classes a semester, and plenty of spring and summer classes. Essentially this involved sleeping at the university couches here and there, eating poorly, not sleeping enough, and just overall being extremely busy, but not as time efficient as I could be.
Now lets move on to third year, this is where I am now. My grades are great, my lady is happy, and I'm happy, but my body hasn't been happy. Between the end of high school and start of 3rd year in university, I gained quite a bit of weight. For two or three months I was hovering at 195lb, and remember, this is with me having worked out like... 10-15x since the end of high school, plus unhealthy lifestyle, so not good. Well, maybe in the last 2 months or so, I've taken a bit of charge of my eating habits, and try to improve a little bit by eating less and making better choices, and I've been able to move down to 184lb as of today.

I want to get back to a healthy shape, and so I am setting some goals, and putting my TL account on the line (made Feb 2009), that I will achieve them. My first batch of goals will be set for sometime at the end of my 3rd year of university and start of summer, for convenience, I'll pick May 31st, 2015 - My 21st birthday. If I don't make my goals(and post a video achieving each one), I wish to be banned from teamliquid until I achieve them.
Now deciding on goals hasn't been easy. A weight goal is difficult, because with the muscle mass I have right now, a weight of 160-165lb would probably be pretty good. However ideally I'd like to weight somewhere between 165-180lb, not really sure, depends on how much muscle I am able to build.
Now for strength goals, you must reality, that I am weak as shit. It's embarrassing bad... We are talking:
-5x50lb dumbbell bench press -5x35lb overhead dumbbell press -Squats... I dunno, I can do x5 155lb ATG, but my legs cramp us after I'm done, and can't do another set. So I don't even bother going higher -Pull up or dip? Lol -5x 185-205lb deadlift -5x125lb Bench press -8x50lb barbell curl -8x22.5lb sitting hammer curl (was after barbell curls, doubt it's much more though, since my form was getting a little poor on the last set or two).
Do you guys have any goals you think I should strive for? I want 10 goals. The ones I currently have that are in effect are:
1) Squat --> 5x245lb ATG 2) Deadlift --> 5x305lb 3) Bench press --> 5x205lb 4) Overhead Dumbbell Press --> 5x65lb 5) Pull-ups --> 8x0lb @ relatively wide grip 6) Passing grade on physique assessment by TL community on improvement over the 6 months (no trolls)
Anyway, wish me luck in my quest! And hopefully some mod/admin is able to confirm my request that the ban will happen if criteria is not met (whether I like it or not in the future).

So you're home gym master race now. I'm jelaous.
As for your goals , they look ambitious to me in regard to your current strength, but you've done heavier in the past so I dunno, maybe. Good luck anyway, I'm trying to hit 100kg squat, without turning into moomin, as ever :p
