Cerrone vs Noons + Show Spoiler + Would love to see more of Noons. Even though he got dominated and was a total mess he was battling through like a trooper. Maybe fighting at a slightly lower level the guy could produce some awesome fights i reckon... Cerrone was just awesome though, so fast and nicely timed knees and kicks. Maynard vs Grant + Show Spoiler + Holy crap i have never seen Grant fight before but that guy is a monster. Took a few punches nicely and then just caught with one nice punch and just unloaded for about 30 seconds. I'm surprised Maynard lasted as long as he did. Teixeira vs Te Huna + Show Spoiler + Aww man i wanted to see Te Huna fight but i didn't really get a chance to. Teixeira just took him down, waited and that was it. It seemed pretty easy to be honest. Dos Santos vs Hunt + Show Spoiler + Dos Santos thought he had it won with that big right hand in the first. He shoulda just jumped on him. Seems to have alot of respect for Hunt. He's using his speed well though, he's in and out before Hunt has a chance to do much. Its less of a mismatch than i thought it would be though. I think Hunt really hurt Dos Santos in round two. Dos Santos has had well enough of fighting on the feet lol. I was surprised Hunt actually improved in round 2. Careful Junior lol. Junior backing out the way every time. Hunt is just unable to land anything at all really. He just can't get in there fast enough. Woah, awesome KO. He deserved it too. Hunt looked far to tired in the third. Velasquez vs Silva + Show Spoiler + Well that was quick. Was it over? I think so, but i'm not sure, he could have left it until Silva was really finished.Cain hit him with two coming in before Silva even had a chance to move his arm.

If you turtle you surrender, imo. Well, sometimes it IS just a natural instinct to get turtle up when you're in panic mode, and the one-two seconds in the turtle position might be the difference in a fighter getting his head back on right or not... I just think if someone's turtling up, taking the back could always be an option, or just simply grabbing the back of one's head and simply dictating where the opponent's head goes and simply punching from there...

If it's purely instinctual, wouldn't you agree that the fighter for all intents and purposes is knocked out? If a fighter isn't fully conscious 2-3 clean shots should be enough to call the fight, in my opinion. Personally I've always leaned heavily towards stopping fights early rather than late and I absolutely go a bit far with it sometimes. But when it comes to turtling I think my concerns are valid, it's about trying to keep the lines between conscious and unconscious as clear as possible so that we can minimize the amount of bullshit referees have to deal with, like whether a fighter is consciosly turtling or doing it instinctively.
