Vettel and Webber were lucky, especially Webber getting to change tyres. Perez also unlucky, was brilliant apart from an ambitious move on Kimi. Nice to see Kimi get that point though on the last lap, and good job to Sutil and Jev also.

They do not know which tire is which so Mercedes benefit from this test is quite limited. According to Mercedes they even asked FIA for permission before doing the test and FIA confirmed that it was OK. The reason Pirelli wanted to use a 2013 car is because they are very different from the 2010 ones and they felt that their previous tests had not told the truth. Even if its ok legally, the way they handled it was far from ok. But its probably more of FIAs fail than Mercedes. The other teams should have been told long before the test and have sort of an access to it. I'd like more facts though. Lets see how it develops... Also, where did you hear "They are not testing this years tires"? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/22672228 Horner "What's disappointing is it's been done in not a transparent manner. A three-day test has taken place with a current car running on tyres that are going to be used in the next Grand Prix and irrelevant of what you call it, that's testing."

Maybe the Kimi incident deserved a penalty but all the others were firm but fair.

I think he should i mean i saw a little of last practice session and i facepalmed when i saw when crashjean had a crash. I mean who has that kind of crash on practice session. He deserves to get +10 positions for Canada.
