So Vettel basically has said "I will ignore any orders which I don't like. What are the team going to do? nothing." It seems Red Bull are happy with that, but I think McLaren and Ferrari will have taken note of these last few weeks. An incident in China between him and Webber would be brilliant now, because I don't think Webber will give a fuck about the "next year's car carrott" they have used to keep him in line.

It was truly silly of Vettel to say the stuff he said. One of the first things you don't do in a team environment is break team harmony. Now everyone on the Redbull team is going to have this drama on their minds. Even if they are professionals, having any distractions in an area where a few hundreths of a second can decide massive events seems like a detriment.

Wow, shit Vettel said is pretty ridiculous. Why would he state stuff like that in a press conference? Surely he could have at least kept the drama inside the team instead of going public with statements like that. I mean, we all love Kimi for his honesty, but there's a pretty clear line between being honest and straight up being an ass, lol. I think it's a little sad that he's still going to keep his seat and his ridiculous salary despite these antics. Definitely hoping he'll have a terrible season after this whole thing.

I really don't care what the drivers say in the interviews. I mean, the newsies are always digging for the dirty answers; they'll keep asking the question anyways until they get it. But still, it doesn't matter if in the end what vettel said was bad or not. In the end, it translates to vettel fighting against webber on the track.

What will RB do exactly if those two disobey team orders? They would both be snapped up instantly by another team if they were let go by RB.

In fact I give vettel and webber more respect because they kept going, compared to that lame shit between hamilton and nico.

There was a FIA rule that stoped that 3 years back. before that Toro rosso was using the year before Redbull chasis so back in 2008 Vettle was using the 2007 redbull.

Qualifying was exactly as expected given the tyres, apart from more cars going out in Q3 on the softs than expected.
It was obvious from yesterday/comments about tyres that qualifying would be about playing around with tyres for the race, and not about going out and doing fast laps, which is kind of silly, but that's the way it seems to be at the moment.

Pretty dull session to be honest, I am happy with Lewis on pole though. Kimi is higher than I expected, and Rosberg lower. Ricciardo did a great job today, as did Bianchi. Vettel could have problems with that strategy, the key will be getting past Button and safely avoiding Grosjean

Looking forward to the race, I wonder how many laps the top 7 can complete in the first stint, almost certainly they will all have to fight through the pack when they stop.
