Hands are dying and kinda cheating on some reps but w/e lol
hahaha, dude you're good enough at chin ups now. You can do something else you know ;P
I'm kidding, that's sick work man. I've done 100 kipping pull ups a few times and honestly that isn't so bad, especially since I don't weigh a whole lot. 100 strict chin-ups though... not sure if I could do that lol. Even if I had the endurance for it (which I probably don't) I think my biceps would explode or something.

haha it's a dragon boat week special. Joining my company dragon boat team for a race tomorrow so I'm training my endurance. Next week is back to regular barbell training but I might keep doing chin-ups :D
Snatched up to 195 with no misses then went for 205. Took 21 attempts hahah I tried to save one of them but my left arm bent and it crashed behind my neck and dropped me to the ground, nothing happened though. I don't normally take so many attempts but the pulls felts so easy, I'm just leaving it a bit forward on the catch. Went on to a 240 c&j and front squatted up to 270. I love training on sundays.
@Donkeys it's pretty awesome how you kept going after that weight after the miss reps. Oly lifting sees like such a different ball game in terms of progression. Like I do my 3x5, and if my 3rd set doesn't go well I can either lower the weight for a 4th set or call it a day, there's no way in hell I can give it another shot at the same weight. If only there was a gym around me with the equipment for oly lifting...
@Solesteeler Gratz man, bench is my weakest too. Feels great to power through new weights. May Brodin bless you with rivers of gains.
Friday - bunch of power snatches up to 105, power cleans up to 130 (pr lols) Saturday - rugby, scored woohoo Monday - Snatch doubles (most power or caught high, knee still recovering) - 70 80 90 95 100 105 110 113 115 118 120 and some back squat triples at 170

You know, I didn't even realize it until you mentioned it because they were in different workouts, but yes! Current snatch PR is 100 kg, CJ is 120 kg. :D I'm probably not capable of it right this second, due to being horribly sick for the last 9 days, but I'll be back at it with a vengeance as soon as I've recovered.

that shits just from bodyweight work
wondered where your posting has gone.
Congrats. What kind of routine you doing for bodyweight work?

Texas Method-ish stuff is working for me. I bench to a 5rm on thursdays, then do 90% of that for 5x5 the following monday. I also do 4-5 sets of 8 dips, either on rings @ BW or on bars with a little added weight on each day. Been pushing 5lbs every week. Should get back into all-time PR territory on the bench this week, which I haven't been in for more than a year now.
But I'm also adding bodyweight at the same time - past 190lbs, pushing 195. It's amazing how much easier it is to add weight when you add white rice and pb&j sandwiches back into your diet.
Hey guys, this is what my current routine looks like. I just changed it a little bit.
MON - run or rest
TUES- planche TGU sprints pullups/chinups 6 sets or weighted 4 sets or 1 arm work hanging leg raises
WED - run or rest
THURS- front lever dips or weighted dips with L Deadlifts pistols ab wheel rollouts
FRI - PT workout
SAT OR SUN - muscle ups (i put this here but at the moment i can barely do 1 muscle up lol, so this is largely a future goal but every time i attempt them anyways and slowly i get better) front lever planche back lever L-sit hanging leg raises pullups/chinups to failure (3 sets minimum) dips to failure (3 sets) pistols IF feeling good
i list the days of the week here but they actually end up varying a bit sometimes the schedule can change but it basically follows the same pattern. and for squadron pt ( i am in the air force this is mandatory) we generally do some kind of very intense cardio workout. sometimes it a crossfit workout.
if curious about sets/reps i can fill that in but this is basically what i do
Today i failed my DL for the very 1st time T_T at 157.5 kg, in the 4th i lost my form and in the last one i just lift it 2cm until i dropped it, i was so fucking tired. Also i still cant pass the 60kg in OHP, second time i fail Squats going okish at 150kg...
p.s. yesterday i learned about zyzz and the comics of /fit/
