Actually seems like a decent fit for him and might actually make Sanchez work for his job, something they have needed the last couple seasons.

Wow and Sean Payton banned for the year.

Wow... Jets get Tebow and Sean Peyton suspended for a year on top of losing two second round draft picks for the '12 and '13 seasons. Crazy news day!!!!!

It seems really unlikely that they're going to go after him now. Tebow's red zone TD percentage is the highest of any QB in the league (!!!). Funny enough, the second highest on that list in the last two years: David Garrard. Really puts that stat into perspective. Nope. Look at numbers 3, 4 and 5. Leaving aside what the stat means for a moment, are you saying you would discount red zone TD percentages? Please.
I would much rather have a QB that gets my team to the redzone 5 times a game and 2 TDs than a QB that gets into the redzone once a game and 1 TD. Seems like a pretty garbage stat by itself.

dude sanchez is gonna lose his job. sanchez has been playing very badly recently. tebow in new york.....sooooo unfair NY gets everything.

So now the Jets have two Quarterbacks who can't throw! Jokes aside this is really great. Can't wait for the season now. I don't know how I'd feel as a Jets fan though. Probably a bit pissed.

Tell me about it. Fucking 9 professional sports teams in NYC. It's frustrating seeing cities get multiple teams for one sport when there are cities that would love to have sports teams that have lost them or never gotten them.

I think it's official, so better be ready to switch. Are you morally O.K. with being a Giants fan now?

Will Tebow even survive under Rex Ryan? I'm not sure his saintly ears can withstand the onslaught of profanity ...
|
I never thought he'd go to the Jets. Oh well I'm not a Jet fan nor a Tebow fan so I guess it's a good fit.

Loooooooooooooooooool
I find it hilarious. Props to whoever wrote the script, can't wait to see this shit unravel.
As a Pats fan this is just great - 2 worst things in football combined together. It's fucking amazing.

its funny beacuse tebows contract is only for a million a year and the qb that the jets have starting for them is being paid 40 mil over 3 years.
was really disheartened to see that tebow only got a 4th rounder. now hes going to get used like a mule as a second string rb and qb until Sanchez fails hardcore and football jesus is called apon to lead a holy crusade into the playoffs.
|
afaik 4th round pick isn't that much of a waste given tebow's salary. It is a million that could be used for a backup blocker or somewhere else productive, but who knows. Jets aren't exactly known for assigning players new roles, but this guy would be better suited for non-QB tasks
|
Worst move EVER for the Jets.. that 4th rounder Will surely turn out to be a better player than tim tebow.
