Hm. You right, I just didn't feel like uploading them. They'll be up later tonight.

Great job mcmartini with the chin-ups. All this talk about chin-ups makes me really eager to go for it myself. Even after losing 100lbs I still can't do a damn chin-up, although I haven't tried in maybe a month.
Malinor, is there anything you can elaborate on about mastering your body weight?

Malinor is like my personal motivator.
Everytime I feel like not going to the gym I think to myself "Malinor wouldn't be proud of me, I shall go, I must go, It's my duty to honor his fucking bossery".
You can say this outloud in a "spartcaus" like tone (first season), and you'll be on track to greatness
Yesterday's workout: Squat: 60kg, 80kg, 90kg, 100kg, 110kg, 120kg, 130kg, 140kg, 150kg, 155kg. 120kg, 125kg, 130kg, 135kg, 140kg x 3 100kg x 2 x 5
Bench: 80kg x 3 x 5
press: 70kg x 3 x 5.
afterwards I went to a paintParty + Show Spoiler +

How on earth is your bench so weak/press so strong

First off, great job on the 100lb loss, that is fantastic and nearly as much as I've lost
Well, for me personally, I was anactive kid and climbed trees and stuff, but when I hit puberty I was already fat and even with the occasional weight loss, I was never really strong in any way. So basically never in my life I was able to pull myself up, hold my weight, or more general as gymnasts would (probably) put it: to control my body in space. One exception is probably that I have really good balance and coordination, since I played table tennis competitevely for eight years. So reflexes, hand-eye coordination and to some extent balance are really good.
Anyway, I just wanted to be in control over my body, I wanted to be able to pull myself up, climb, support my weight. So I train Dips and Chins/Pull religiously, added a lot of harder push up variations (might as well if your shoulder prevents you from bench pressing). And mostly thanks to eshlow's presence here and his informations about bodyweight training, I started to look into some of the bodyweight stuff. And although I am still to heavy to do most of even the basic stuff, there is literally always stuff you can do with your body
So generally, my mantra is to have control over my body in space. This basically means my mid- to long term goals are Muscle-Ups, Front and Back Lever a Full Planche (this goal is probably 2-3 years away, so it really is longterm). I am able to do L-Seats since ~2weeks, so the first real gymnastic skill I possess. It is one of the beneftis of getting older, that you are able to think more longterm and don't give up on stuff that you cannot reach within a couple of months
Well, this got longer than I expected, but TL:DR: gain control of your body

Yeah, I really need to see a video of your Overhead Press, you freak of nature Oo

Having said all of the above, I haven't had such a bad day nutrition-wise while being at home in a long time. I just stuffed myself with everything that is bad and unholy today. I feel horrible, bah.

my bench is around 90-95kg, and my max in OHP is 70-75kg.
I'm just taking it easy, cause after pressing, my shoulder was feeling some discomfort, and since I've been trying to get it back up again, I just took it light.
I'll try to get a video of me pressing, but it's pretty fucking hard. people in my gym are..dumb? .

Todays workout were "weak".
Deadlift: 150kg 10x3 for reps. Bench: 5x2 110kg then 5x1 100kg
And did some triceps and easy shoulder training with 27.5kg dumbbells.

Smolov day 4, Week 2, one more week in hell. I'm getting closer to the olympus.
Squat: 157.5kgx3x10

we should do a teamliquid H&f team, and challenge one of those crossfit gyms to a beat down.
We'd take down those mthrfckrs in no time.
tl h&f power.

Fuck.
I feel like going to the gym is a waste of time right now... I still love going to lift, but I can't actually get any weight moved in any exercises that matter. It's three weeks of this, getting towards four. My hip feels a lot better, but I still can't get a deadlift off the ground, and I still can't turn around in a squat. Taking 225 off the floor feels like I'm lifting the goddamn moon, even though I can pull way more than that. I can't pull my old "worksets" right now for a single rep, I'm not even thinking about setting PRs anymore. I'm going in, trying to do my real lifts, realizing it's not going to happen today and then doing some kind of stupid lifts for thirty minutes so I didn't waste the trip. Rinse and repeat the next day, and hope to god it goes away soon. I don't feel tired all the time, but people around me are commenting that I look or act like I am.
I don't know whether I'm working too much (typically working ~45 hours/week, out in the sun) not sleeping enough (I've always slept badly. Irregular hours, and poor quality. Maybe it's catching up with me.) not eating enough (I think I am, I'm at least maintaining if not gaining slowly) or I tried to lift too much and I'm just burnt out. Maybe this is what over training feels like? Maybe I'm still sick and I dont know it? Maybe I'm just a little bitch and I need to muscle through, because tomorrow I'll lift better? Maybe this is my punishment for not calling those Oly coaches yet? I don't know.
All I know is I'm excited to go to the gym, and pick up heavy shit, and then when I get there the goddamn bottom falls out and I can't do shit. And it's really starting to piss me off.

Phyre, quit being a bitch. -in the best way possible, Decaf

Decaf;
You've put more weight on your lifts in the last month than I have. Clearly I'm being a bitch about something, I just need to figure out how the hell to fix it.

tl h&f power. I have a feeling that with the exception of say, the marathon runners, and the few rugby players we have who are used to endurance sports, a lot of us would fail to meet the conditioning required for the amount of ... things they do.
