Does anyone else get motivated when people watch them lift? I just wanna kill the lift so much more. Sometimes I get my gf to watch me on heavy sets not only to comment on form but also just cause it gives me that extra motivation. Also, random people who are watching you but only out of the corner of there eye, being like how is that short guy pulling all that weight that is more than me type deal. Or maybe they were just looking cause it was loud as fuck. ![]() Nice lift Sjarl, not as low as normal, but still sick stuff right there.

2 weeks ago today I started logging my food and really focusing on my diet. I am down 13.8 lbs in those 2 weeks and feeling great! However, 5.8 of those lbs apparently came off yesterday which has me concerned... Here are some more facts: I started my diet at 335 so I was/am considerably overweight, even though I am a rather big dude. I bought a new scale last week and it has been spot on in the short amount of time I have owned it. The last few days I have been weighing myself every morning before I get in the shower. I zeroed out the scale several times this morning thinking the scale must be broken but it repeatedly gave the same weight. Yesterday was a GREAT day on my diet, I only took in about 1400 calories of my limit of 2700 (limit based on losing 2 lbs a week). I hardly starved myself or struggled through, it was just a good day. Basically I'm trying to figure out if losing that much weight in a day is possible or if my scale might be having issues. Help please!

In my foodlog I have weeks with caloric estimates between 2800/day and 6100/day. But over longer periodes of time (i.e. 4 weeks), the result is always somewhere between 4000-4300/day. As long as you count the calories you are eating, there is no need to check daily and obsess about the short term results. edit: And in the first week(s) of dieting when you are above 300lbs, weightloss is just gonna be crazy. Enjoy it as long as it lasts.

@ Malinor The one and only reason I weigh every morning is to get data points on my tracking app. I am only concerned about the weekly loss/gain and keeping the downward trend on my graph. The only reason I posted about it here was to check to see if this was normal or if I needed a new scale :p

@Charger, great job so far buddy! That much weight loss in one day isn't terribly uncommon with people your weight, especially near the beginning of your weight loss. It should become more consistent. Be careful with eating at too low of a caloric deficit though. I know some days it might be easier to eat that little, but you don't want to do that consistently. I also don't agree with weighing yourself daily, but if you like it then I don't have a problem with it. That probably would have driven me crazy when I was losing weight. Just make sure you don't get too stressed out if you have a bad week. Never give up! @sJarl Such a beast :D

I adjust my food depending on how much weight I want to lose (I'm aiming for 1.5 pounds/week) Ok I need eshlow advice here, given he is a stud: Things went good with girl I met last weekend (2nd time). However, this time I really want to be alone with her on a private place (If you know what I mean) and thing is, I don't have access to one. I live with my parents (it isn't as bad as it is in the US, except for the part u can't bring girls home cause it would be beyond awkward) I could certainly rent one, but I think that will make her feel like a slut. Also, even though selling kettlebells gives me unlimited cash for my current spending level, I think spending 20-60 bucks every weekened would be a huge waste of money. Anyone got any other idea? (I've also discarded the driving into the woods, cause it would still be a less than perfect situation) Now, that I've written this down, I think I'm just being a little bitch and I should just rent something not so cheap. I'm still open to suggestions ![]() (notice I really like this girl and maybe want her as my gf)

First time I had a girl stay over still at my parents I asked my parents during the day saying she needed a place to stay. When my mum dropped me off she said she'd make up the spare bed while I was out. Got a lift back from a friend and she just stayed in my bed, and my parents didn't say anything. After that it was just never talked about but there wasn't a problem. With boys I don't think parents care too much, daughters it's a different story.
