We are only 4 days away from the start of the event. all of this bickering and sniping back and forth would be avoided if they'd simply announce the prize pool. Someone on TL.Net should start a poll called : "Guess the NASL Season 4 Prize Pool" if you come within $100 of the correct Prize Pool you get a free HD pass for NASL season 5.
You know they've been paying money for each series winner for the past two seasons, as well as hosting showmatches for thousands of dollars? I bet they got pretty damn close to that 400k

Even though it's more expensive, I'd so much rather go to NASL than MLG. Venue and everything is so much cleaner/nicer. In fact, the emptier it is, the more I'd enjoy it. Though, I'm more of the stay-home type anyway and live on the east coast. Also, $60 for tickets isn't really expensive. If you spent 12 hours there, that would be $5/hour, which equates to about 6 movie tickets (2 hours for $10? Sometimes $20). If only Naniwa could still be in the tournament.

So now that I'm going to this... does anyone want to organize a TL get together? I'm going by myself since the GF works both days and my team is being lame and not coming out!

Do you have a particular request for NASLS5?

so can someone tell if they sold all those tickets? because it would be really disturbing if this small venue wont even fill up. i hope for an emotional atmosphere as we saw at ipl5.

Championship match if by chance I am still awake (europe). But not the rest of this meaningless day. Compare that to a Dreamhack weekend, where I just have the stream open for 12h straight, because something is always coming up -.-

Why wouldn't he be? NASL pay for the trip, he'd just be playing as Golden instead of Quantic.Golden. Even if they hadn't, He was in Vegas last weekend, he could just hitch a ride to LA and crash with BitterDam until the Finals!

You mean the very small venue that IPL5 was, which wasn't nearly filled up? These captures are ALL from the Championship Match at IPL5 in Vegas. I'd estimate seating in the venue was perhaps 500-600 and it looks to me that it was maybe at 2/3 capacity. Notice there's nobody sitting in the aisles because of no seats left like we saw at NASL S3 and MLG championship matches. Please note that I'm not bagging on IPL, they do a great event and the emotional atmosphere was awesome. But so was it at recent MLGs and NASL Finals.
but not really the nasl season finals 2, those were kinda awkward, just hope it will fill up to have good atmosphere
edit: and ipl was filled up at the primetime, just in the very end it was kinda empty. its totally understandable that not everybody want to stay till midnight.

In a situation where there is a pefect ratio of tickets to seats 1:1 then there will always be empty seats, particularly over a longish event as people come and go over the event, especially something as huge as IPL5 where there is so much gong on outside the main stage. NASL is selling seats too so I imagine it would be pretty similiar to be honest. What is going to be different is that it's a theatre rather than a hall.

NASL S1 and S2 finals had lacklustre attendance. S3 succeeded because it was in Toronto.
S3 was an amazing sell out because in SC2's history only 1 "major event" has been hosted in a 1st world country of 35 million people.
S4 will once again have mediocre enthusiasm and low crowd totals.
They should've returned to Toronto.
The PrizePool mystery could become a great story angle. The PrizePool for S4 could have a lore behind it similar to the Dark Templar.
